The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic was the second touchscreen-only Symbian phone to come from Nokia. Building after the popular success of the 5800 XpressMusic, it brings a bit less features (no GPS, no 3G), making it smaller and more affordable than the 5800. For those of you who were scared by the chunkiness or lack of style in the 5800’s design, the 5530 XpressMusic is a great alternative to consider.
At MWC 2010, we got a chance to play with the Google Nexus One built by HTC . The phone is powered by a 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor which means that the phone is fast and snappy. It runs on the latest version of the Android (2.1 Eclair) Operating System.
Yes you read it right- Eye-Controlled Ear phones – one of the most interesting demos we saw at MWC 2010 last month. Imagine being able to control your tracks , volume and playback with just your eyes – completely hands free !

We are sure most of you have been eagerly waiting for this phone ever since it was announced last year. After having played with it during MWC 2010 , the 4 inch display is gorgeous and the Timescape feature is interesting. The 1GHZ Snapdragon CPU means that its pretty fast .
Just before MWC 2010 started on Monday , Sony Ericsson had a press conference at Opium Mar in Barcelona and we brought you some live pictures from the event. One of the handsets which was interesting for the newly announced Sony Ericsson Aspen which is a Touchscreen QWERTY running on Windows Mobile 6.5.3
After the explosive rise of touchscreen phones in the market , We are so used to touch that sometimes we even tap the screens on non-touch phones unintentionally. Looks like Sony Ericsson wants to capitalize on this and the the Aspen promises the best of the both the Touch and QWERTY worlds. It packs a 3.2 Megapixel Camera and a 3.5mm audio jack.

We managed to play some video on the Samsung Wave with the new Super AMOLED Display and we have to admit that it really looked awesome. The colors are reproduced very well and it’s expected to perform well under direct sunlight. It did pretty well under the lights in the Samsung booth. Video after the jump. While the Search engine company from Mountain View , California might have sold only about 80,000 phones, it has certainly managed to successfully spin off a new mobile platform which is rising fast and has even shaken major mobile industry players including Apple , RIM in the USA.
