We had shown you the hands on of the LG Optimus Vu II earlier, and with the Vu II comes an interesting real-time collaboration feature that might impress you at first sight, and that is called Vu Talk. Vu Talk works between two Optimus Vu devices over a 3G or a WiFi network. It’s basically like real-time messaging but using a stylus-laden note taking app. Check out the really impressive demo of the Vu Talk in the hands on video.

Carbon Twitter client for Android that was first previewed in March last year is finally available on Google Play. The UI looks good, and there are lot of unique features such as Tilt to Refresh, QuickTimeline, but it is missing lot of settings, Homescreen Widgets and Streaming. The HTC M7 is almost confirmed, with them planning the press event at London and NYC on the 19th of February, right before the Mobile World Congress at Barcelona, which is starting on the 25th. But according to some new leaks from the leakmeister, @EVleaks at UnwiredView, HTC is filling up its portfolio with two other devices, the HTC M4 and the HTC G2. By looking at the specs, the HTC M4 looks like a mid to high end device, with possibilities of it being a successor to the HTC One S. It is also interesting to note that the hardware specs somewhat resemble the HTC Windows Phone 8X, while the HTC G2(which bears no similarities to the first Android phone) is supposedly a low end device and a probable successor to the HTC Desire C.

Evernote has updated their Hello app for iPhone to version 2.0 that brings lot of new features including a new user interface with a new home screen that offers more context of a person at a glace, option to scan business cards (free for first 2 month, after that it would be available only for premium users), LinkedIn and Facebook integration and lots more new features. Acer and Intel has announced the Liquid C1 powered by the Intel’s 1.2 GHz Atom Lexington Z2420 processor for the Asia Pacific region. The Xolo X500 that was launched in India last week uses the same processor, Acer was also announced as a partner at the announcement in CES 2013 last month. The Liquid C1 has a 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) IPS touch screen display with 16:9 ratio and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 8MP auto focus camera at the back with LED flash that can capture images at 5 frames per second. It also features a 0.3MP front-facing camera. Google has updated their Google+ app for Android to version 3.5 that brings new features including option to add links to posts, new notifications tray and easier Google+ community management. Last month’s Google+ update for Android version 3.3 got several new features including communities, Support for time zones in Events, Basic profile editing and more. Nokia has started rolling out the Windows Phone 7.8 devices for Lumia smartphones running on Windows Phone 7.5, such as Nokia Lumia 510, 610, 710, 800 and 900 as they promised. Nokia released the Lumia 505 with Windows Phone 7.8 last month for Mexico and also started shipping the Lumia 510 with WP 7.8. Xolo X500 was launched in India last week. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Xolo X500 is powered by a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Lexington Z2420 single-core processor with Power VR SGX540 GPU. The Xolo X900 that was launched in India last year is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2460 Medfield processor, but the new CPU is aimed at low-cost Android smartphones. Even the new chip has Intel’s hyper threading technology that offers better mutitasking capabilities. Let us see how it stacks up with the other Android smartphones. S Mobility has officially launched the Stellar Pinnacle Mi-530. It was listed on online retailer Saholic earlier this week. It has a 5.3-inch (960 × 540 pixels) IPS LCD display, powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) which is upgradable to Jelly Bean. It has a 8 MP auto focus camera with LED Flash, 1080p HD video recording and a 5 MP front-facing camera. Apple has officially announced the rumoured iPad 4 or iPad with Retina Display with 128GB of storage on board. The pricing is not a surprise and extends the current iPad pricing by $100. The WiFi only version of the iPad with 128GB of space will cost $799 and the WiFi + Cellular version will cost $929 making it the most expensive iPad ever. Micromax A54 Ninja 3.5 is now available from online retailers Snapdeal and Flipkart in India. It has 3.5-inch (480 x 320 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, has dual SIM support, runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and has a 3MP rear camera similar to its predecessor, A57 Ninja 3.0 that was launched last year. Huawei has officially launched the Ascend G600 and the G330 in India. The Ascend G330 went on sale in India last month, and the Ascend G600 went on sale couple of weeks back. The Ascend G600 has a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) IPS capactive touch screen display with 178 degree viewing angle, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, and the Ascend G330 comes with a 4-inch ( 800×480 pixels) IPS capactive touch screen display and powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor.
