iBall Andi 4L PULSE, the company’s first Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone is now available from retail stores, according to Mumbai-based retailer Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom. It has a 4-inch WVGA display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor. It is not clear if the smartphone has a front-facing camera since there is no mention of it. It has 3G connectivity and Dual SIM support. Google Nexus 6 Benchmarks

Google Nexus 6 smartphone made by Motorola was officially launched in India last week, priced at Rs. 43,999 for the 32GB variant and the 64GB variant is priced at Rs. 48,999. We brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery recently, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It is powered by an Quad-Core Snapdragon 805 (APQ8084) 28nm HPm Krait 450 CPU clocked at 2.65 GHz with Adreno 420 GPU clocked at 600 MHz. It has 3GB RAM, a 5.96-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) Quad HD display and runs on Android 5.0. We did not add Quadrant and Linpack benchmarks since the scores were very low compared to other Snapdragon 805-powered devices. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores below.

One of our readers has spotted the Micromax YU smartphone in Zauba import/export database that shows the pricing for a single unit as Rs. 8,301. Huawei just announced the Honor 6 Plus at an event in China. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p screen with 72.8% screen-to-body ratio and 2.8mm slim bezels on the sides, is powered by a Octa-Core (4×1.8GHz + 4×1.3GHz) Hisilicon Kirin 925 processor with i3 low-power sensor and runs on Android 4.4 with Huawei’s own Emotion UI 3.0 on top. The main highlight is its dual 8-megapixel cameras on the back with dual LED flashes for effective pixel size to 1.98 microns resulting in sharper images, and an adjustable aperture that can be set between f/0.95 and f/16.
