It has a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels), is powered by a quad-core Intel Bay Trail T CR processor and runs on Windows 8.1 with Bing. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It also comes with one-year subscription to Office 365. Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S6 Edge along with the Galaxy S6 at its Mobile World Congress press event in Barcelona.

The HTC One M9 has finally been made official here at a separate press event in Barcelona, just ahead of the Mobile World Congress. Huawei just announced the MediaPad X2, the company’s latest phablet and the successor of last year’s MediaPad X1 at the Mobile World Congress 2015. It has the same 7-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) IPS display, but this is powered by a 2.0 GHz Kirin 930 64 bit octa-core processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Huawei’s own Emotion UI 3.0 on top. Acer has announced Liquid Z220 and Liquid Z520, two new budget Android smartphones in the Z series ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona. The Liquid Z220 is the company’s first budget smartphone with Android 5.0 Lollipop. It has a 4-inch WVGA display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with 89-degree wide-angle lens. The Liquid Z520 has a 5-inch FWVGA display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core quad processor and comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera. Both these smartphones have a 2-megapixel front facing and dual SIM support.

Acer has announced Liquid Jade Z, the successor of last year’s Liquid Jade smartphone ahead of MWC 2015. It has a 5-inch HD IPS display based on Zero Air Gap technology with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), similar to the Liquid Jade, but this is powered by a faster 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6732 with 4G LTE support and has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
