Google has announced the launch of a new Android TV update that will be based on Android 11. With it, Google is improving OS performance and privacy features, added many under-the-hood improvements and updated developer tools for testing and deployment.
Lately, LG has been known as the company that is releasing weird and quirky phones like the LG Wing. While it is great that LG is trying out new form factors for smartphones, what is not great is their track record with software updates. That, however, is changing as LG has finally announced Android 10 with LG UX 9.0 updates for range of smartphones smartphones.
At the realme narzo 20 series launch event realme also unveiled its realme UI 2.0, based on Android 11. This brings option to change notification bar colours, shortcut buttons, settings for interface icons, and other 23 interfaces. The Android Go Edition is version of Android that is specifically designed for low spec-ed smartphones. The program was started back in 2018, and now Google has released the Android 11 (Go Edition) with improvements to speed, improved permissions, gesture-based navigation and more.
OPPO today confirmed that it will introduce ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 at a global launch event on September 14th. This comes after the ColorOS 7.0 based on Android 10 that was introduced back in November last year that brought new icons in UI, new live wallpapers, new video editing assistant, and more. OnePlus has announced that the Android 11 Developer Preview 3 is now available for download on the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. Along with the regular bug fixes and updates, users who install the new Developer Preview 3 can get an early look OnePlus design refresh and features that’s coming in OxygenOS 11.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone in India back in February last year running MIUI 10.2 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie). The smartphone has already started receiving Android 10 update along with MIUI 12 in India, but limited to Pilot testers only for now. Redmi Note series devices usually have a great custom ROM development, and Redmi Note 7 series is no exception to the family.
Oxygen OS is amongst popular Android skin that offers smooth experience along with a decent amount of customizations without much bloatware. A couple of months ago, we had tried Android 10 based Oxygen OS ported ROM on our Redmi Note 7 (lavender). Recently developers ported Android 10 based Oxygen OS to Redmi Note 7 Pro (Violet), we tried it on our unit and here is our review of the same.

As promised a few days back, the bubble support is rolling out on Google Messages beta in Android 11 through a server-side update.
