Motorola has finally started rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for the 2015 Moto E (2nd gen) 4G in India. It rolled out Android Marshmallow update for the Moto X Style smartphone in India back in November last year, Moto X Play, Moto G (3rd Gen) and Moto G Turbo edition got the Marshmallow update in India last month. Believe it or not, we live in a world where there are people who don’t have a Gmail account and now the service is bringing a new feature to cater to that specific audience. Gmail has announced ‘Gmailify’ feature that will allow non-Gmail users to access Outlook.com, Hotmail, or Yahoo! email accounts through the Gmail app on Android.

Canonical has partnered with Meizu to introduce Meizu PRO 5 Ubuntu Edition, ahead of MWC 2016 next week. “This is the fifth Ubuntu device launched by Canonical and its partners in the last twelve months and the most sophisticated and feature-rich Ubuntu phone in the market,” said Canonical. It has similar specifications as the original Meizu PRO 5 that was introduced last year, but this comes only in 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant. Skype for iOS has been updated with a couple of new feature and improvements. The service will now add native support for Microsoft Office documents which means that users can now open, view, and respond to files in the middle of online conversations on Skype.

It has a 4-inch qHD display, is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor, has 1GB of RAM, comes with 3G connectivity and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Earlier this month Apple acknowledged the Error 53 bug that led to bricking of iPhones. Now, the company has officially acknowledged the existence of a recently-exposed date settings bug and has posted a new support document for the same on its website.
LG announced the X Cam and X Screen smartphones yesterday with dual cameras and dual screens respectively. The smartphones will be showcased at MWC 2016 before they go on sale in March. However, it seems that LG have many more devices coming up in the X series lineup in 2016.
