Le Max Pro the first smartphone with Snapdragon 820 goes on sale in China

LeEco Le Max Pro, which was the first smartphone to be announced with the Snapdragon 820 SoC also becomes the first smartphone with the processor to go on sale in China. Founder and CEO Jia Yueting today on weibo (Via) said that 1000 units of the flagship smartphone will be available for purchase at 1999 yuan (US$ 306 / Rs. 20,995 approx.). Jide Technology that released Remix OS 2.0 alpha version for PCs and laptops last month, today announced that it will release beta version of Remix OS for PC on March 1st through OTA and will also be available for download on the official website. “The new Beta version has a substantial number of bug fixes and an increase in device compatibility, as well as over-the-air (OTA) updates, 32-bit system support and dual boot support through a new hard drive installer tool,” said the company. Chinese smartphone maker vivo today confirmed that its flagship Xplay5 smartphone will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and pack whopping 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Most flagship smartphones come with 4GB of RAM, but this will probably be the first smartphone to come with 6GB of RAM.
