Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet specifications leaked: Snapdragon 800, Android 4.4 KitKat and 3GB RAM

Last year Sony launched the Xperia Tablet Z, the company’s first 10-inch waterproof tablet. evleaks has just leaked the specifications of the Xperia Z2 Tablet ahead of MWC 2014. The successor would have the same 10.1-inch HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) WUXGA display, but this would be powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor instead of Snapdragon S4 Pro chip. Gionee M2 and Gpad G4 officially launched in India for Rs. 10999 and Rs. 18999

Gionee M2 and the Gpad G4 have been officially launched in India. These smartphones went on sale recently. The M2 has a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and packs 4200 mAh battery. The GPad G4 has a 5.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD one-glass solution (OGS) display, powered by a  1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589T processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU,  13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and packs a 3200 mAh battery. Looks like the company is also working on their first water and dust-proof smartphone, according to new leak from the MMXNewscaster. The smartphone would go on sale in Korea tomorrow, February 18th. It has a 4.7-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). LG has just announced their L Series III smartphone lineup that includes, L40, L70 and L90. These smartphones run on Android 4.4 (KitKat). These have seamless layout, delicate finishing, narrow bezel and refined metallic frame to give premium looks similar to the G Series, says LG. It also has Quick Window cover. LG unveiled the Optimus L3, L5 and the L7 at the MWC 2012 and announced the L Series II smartphones at the MWC 2013 last year. Lenovo launched the Lenovo Vibe Z (K910), the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the Vibe series in India earlier this week at a price tag of Rs. Rs. 35,999. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks of the device.  The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) 28nm HPm Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.15 GHz with Adreno 330 GPU. Motorola has finally started rolling out the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update for the Dual SIM Moto G users in India. Motorola promised that the India users would get the update in a few weeks, at the launch, earlier this month. The Android 4.4.2 update was first released for the single SIM US variant first, back in December and it started rolling out in Europe, again for the single SIM variant last month. Intex launched the Aqua Octa, India’s first MediaTek Octa-Core powered smartphone last month. We already brought you the unboxing, benchmarks and the photo gallery of the Aqua Octa. Here are the camera samples. It has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and full HD video recording, but the 5-megapixel front-facing camera can record videos only at VGA resolution. Lenovo Vibe Z Unboxing

The Lenovo K900 was the Chinese company’s first flagship launch in India. It had really good specifications for a high end phone and launched at a competitive price, only to then get lesser and suddenly turn into a really good value for money device. We had been waiting for its successor for quite a while now, and now it has come in the form of the Lenovo Vibe Z, which aims to fill the gap the K900 has left in the Indian market. The Vibe Z was announced in India just a couple of days back, at an event which we attended. It has been priced at Rs. 35,999, which is very close to what the K900 was launched for. We had taken a good look at the Vibe Z aka K910 at the Consumer electronics show in Vegas, but the phone was announced in China way back in October. We had unboxed it earlier, to show you the box contents and a quick overview of the device, but this time around, we will show a walkthrough of the phone in clear photos. This 6 inch device from Intex is pretty unique. It looks like a really slim unibody phone but actually has a removable back cover and a replaceable battery, while managing to be light at the same time.
