At the Computex 2014 event in Taipei, Asus announced a lot of products and among those, is the upgraded Asus MeMO Pad 8. The new Asus MeMO Pad 8 is an upgrade over the yesterday product of the same name. The successor – New Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a very worthy upgrade over the original with a Full HD display, an Intel Atom Z3580 SoC with 2GB RAM, 16GB Internal storage and a microSD card slot. The new MeMO Pad 8 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Tab 4 10.1 listed on official eStore in India at Rs. 23960 and Rs. 30498

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 (SM-T331) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 (SM-T531) that were unveiled back in April are now listed on official Samsung India eStore. Both these tablets have 8.0-inch and 10.1-inch WXGA displays with 16:10 screen ratio, powered by 1.2 quad-core processors and run on Android 4.4 (KitKat). These are the the 3G variants of the tablet that comes with voice calling capabilities. These have a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and feature leather-like finish on the back. Acer announced the higher mid-range Android smartphone – Acer Liquid Jade at the Computex 2014 event in Taipei. The phone comes bundled with Acer Liquid Leap fitness band in certain markets. The Acer Liquid Jade seems to be the exact combination of the mid-range smartphone being powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor and a 720p HD 5inch screen.
Sony Xperia Z2 Camera Samples
Sony announced the Sony Xperia Z2 at MWC 2014 earlier this year and it wasn’t much of an update when compared to the Sony Xperia Z1. The Sony Xperia Z2 comes with an almost similar body while the internals have been beefed up to match the latest generation SoC. Sony has decided to stick with the similar 20.7MP camera module on the Xperia Z2 that is currently found in the Xperia Z1 and the Xperia Z1 Compact.

Android KitKat activation hits 13.6%, Jelly Bean down to 58.4%
It’s that time of the month when Google releases its monthly Android distribution numbers. KitKat’s share is consistently increasing for the past two months and now, Google’s latest version of Android is present on 13.6% . This is up from 8.5% in May and 5.3% in April.

Hitman GO turn-based puzzle game now available for Android

Square Enix released Hitman GO, a turn-based puzzle game for iPhone and iPad back in April. The game is now available for Android. This lets you strategically navigate fixed spaces on a grid to avoid enemies, infiltrate well-guarded locations and take out your target. Android 4.4.3 update rolling out for Google Play Edition HTC One (M7), M8, Galaxy S4 and Xperia Z Ultra
Google released Android KitKat factory images for Nexus devices and Motorola also announced that it will bring the latest update to its devices (X, G and E) this week. Now, owners of Google Play Edition HTC One M7, M8 and Sony Z Ultra are receiving the 4.4.3 update. HTC has also uploaded the kernel source for this update for the One M7 and M8 devices.
Motorola Moto X, Moto G and Moto E Android 4.4.3 update rolling out this week

Soon after Google pushed out the Android 4.4.3 factory images, Motorola has announced that the unlocked variants of Moto X (T-Mobile), Moto G (U.S and Brazil) and Moto E (U.S.) would start getting the Android 4.4.3 (KitKat) update starting this week. This minor update would bring improved dialer with a new interface, new colors to enhance consistency and usability and several stability, framework and security fixes in addition to accuracy improvements to the power profile.
