Gionee Pioneer P2S that went on sale in India on the official Gionee online Store has been officially launched in India. It has a 4-inch WVGA display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor with Mali 400 GPU and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It also has a new V-gesture shot that lets you capture selfies easily. Motorola announced the Motorola Moto X nearly nine months ago and it was the company’s first smartphone after being taken over by Google. Android 4.4.3 update rolling out for Google Play Edition HTC One (M7), M8, Galaxy S4 and Xperia Z Ultra

Google released Android KitKat factory images for Nexus devices and Motorola also announced that it will bring the latest update to its devices (X, G and E) this week.  Now, owners of Google Play Edition HTC One M7, M8 and Sony Z Ultra are receiving the 4.4.3 update. HTC has also uploaded the kernel source for this update for the One M7 and M8 devices.

Motorola Moto X, Moto G and Moto E Android 4.4.3 update rolling out this week

Soon after Google pushed out the Android 4.4.3 factory images, Motorola has announced that the unlocked variants of Moto X (T-Mobile), Moto G (U.S and Brazil) and Moto E (U.S.) would start getting the Android 4.4.3 (KitKat) update starting this week. This minor update would bring  improved dialer with a new interface, new colors to enhance consistency and usability and several stability, framework and security fixes in addition to accuracy improvements to the power profile. Earlier in April, Google had accidentally leaked screenshots of the Android Dialer via Twitter. Now the new dialer 1.1 has become official in the Android 4.4.3 update that reveals that Google is sticking to a light colours.

HTC One E8 with 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 801 and 13MP camera announced

HTC has finally made HTC One E8 official soon after it appeared on the official website. It is a variant of the HTC One (M8) that was unveiled back in March, but this has a polycarbonate body instead of brushed aluminium finish on the One M8 and the Duo camera arrangement has been replaced by a 13-megapixel camera, similar to the Desire 816 and the One mini 2. It has the same 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass protection, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Google releases Android 4.4.3 KitKat factory images for Nexus devices

Google has released Android 4.4.3 KitKat factory images and binaries for both the WiFi and Cellular versions of the Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and also for the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 5. This minor update brings a new dialer that Google accidentally revealed couple of months back, some visual changes to the Contacts app and several under the hood changes. Both these smartphones are powered by 1 GHz dual-core processors and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Both these have a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, but the Iris 300 style doesn’t have LED flash.
