Huawei has officially launched the Ascend P7, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in India soon after it went on sale online. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IPS touch-sensitive display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, is powered by Huawei’s own 1.8 GHz quad-core processor with Mali-450 MP4 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Huawei own Emotion UI 2.3 on top. Toshiba has launched Toshiba WT8, the company’s latest Windows 8.1 tablet in India. It was originally announced as Encore 2 back in May and packs a 8-inch WXGA display, is powered by a 1.33 quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor, has a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a 1-Year free Office 365 Subscription. Toshiba has partnered with Amazon.in to sell the tablet.

Vivo just announced the Vivo X5Max at an event in China, as expected. The Vivo X5Max becomes the world’s slimmest smartphone with 4.75mm thickness, slimmer than the 4.85mm Oppo R5 smartphone that was announced in October. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen with 3.98mm narrow bezels, powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and runs on Funtouch OS 2.0 based on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera and packs a 6400mAh battery. It has SIM card slot for 3G support and also lets you make voice calls. Swipe has partnered with Snapdeal to sell the tablet. Google Nexus 6 made by Motorola went on pre-order in India on Flipkart last month priced at Rs. 43,999 for the 32GB variant and Rs. 48,999 for the 64GB variant. Today Google and Motorola officially launched the Nexus 6 smartphone at the Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) event in India. The Nexus 6 comes in Midnight Blue and Cloud White colors. 50,000 Xiaomi Redmi Note smartphones went on sale on December 2nd, and it sold out in 6 seconds in the first flash sale. The company has announced that 75,000 Redmi Note smartphones would be available for sale on second flash sale today on Flipkart at 2PM. Xiaomi Redmi 1S smartphones went on sale again on Flipkart yesterday without registration. The company said that the the sale will last till the stocks are over. Google Nexus 9 16GB WiFi variant goes on sale on Amazon in India for Rs. 28900 [Updated]

Google unveiled the Nexus 9 tablet made by HTC back in October. It got priced at Rs. 28,900 for the 16GB WiFi variant and Rs.44,900 for the 32GB LTE variant on the Google Play Store in India last month. Now the 16GB WiFi Indigo Black variant of the Nexus 9 is on sale on Amazon.in at the same price of Rs. 28,900. The LTE variant is also expected to go on sale soon.
