Celkon has launched Millennia Q5K Power, a new smartphone in the Millennia series with a 5000mAh battery. It has a 5-inch FWVGA screen, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera. Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 smartphones have gone official in China, after these got certified last month. The Galaxy J5 has a 5-inch HD screen and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC, while the Galaxy J7 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC. Both these smartphones run on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with new UI, have a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for capturing better selfies. Meizu m2, successor of the Meizu m1 that was introduced earlier this year, has been certified on TENAA (via) in China. The listing reveals that the smartphone will feature a 5-inch HD screen, will be powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor, compared to the MT6732 SoC on the predecessor and run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with FlyMe OS. OnePlus One gets a new Cyanogen OS 12 incremental update to fix touchscreen issues

OnePlus One has received a new Cyanogen OS 12.0 incremental update to fix touchscreen sensitivity issues, as the company promised last month. The company already said that it has been working with Synaptics, developer of touch and biometrics hardware to fix the bug. The build YNG1TAS2I3 also fixes Bluetooth connectivity when connecting to in-car system and issues in sending MMS. OnePlus slashed the price of the OnePlus One smartphone by $50 permanently earlier this month for purchases through the company’s global portal OnePlus.net. Today, OnePlus India has announced a temporary price cut of Rs. 2000 for the 64GB Sandstone Black version. This is the first time the company is reducing the price of the smartphone in India. Today Xiaomi has announced a price cut for the 16GB variant in India, which has received a Rs. 3000 price cut to celebrate its recent achievement of selling over 10 million (1 crore) units of Mi 4 smartphones worldwide.
