This pack offers unlimited free Twitter access for 3 months for GSM customers without any extra cost. The company launched My College plan for pre-paid GSM customers last year that offered unlimited access to Facebook and WhatsApp and offered Unlimited Facebook and Facebook Messenger access at Rs. 16 per month few months back. Idea Cellular has launched the AURUS 2, successor of the first AURUS phone that was launched last year. It has a 3.5 inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display similar its predecessor, but this runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1 GHz processor, instead of 800MHz processor. It has a 3.2MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera for video calling. It is aimed at 3G users in semi-urban and rural markets. Vodafone and ICICI Bank partner to launch M-Pesa mobile money transfer and payment service

Vodafone India has partnered with ICICI Bank to launch M-Pesa, a mobile money transfer and payment service. It offers a simple and secure way to transfer money and make payments with the security of financial transactions provided by ICICI Bank. Vodafone India through its subsidiary, Mobile Commerce Solutions Ltd. (MCSL) and ICICI Bank announced the M-Pesa back in November 2012. Airtel has launched 2 new International Roaming Packs for post-paid mobile customers in India travelling to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Australia, Germany, UAE and UK. This offers up to 2 hours of free incoming calls and outgoing calls for as low as Rs. 40/minute. Airtel launched US International Roaming Voice packs for post-paid customers last year that offers up to 87% discount on voice calls and up to 5 hours of free incoming calls. Airtel can continue 3G Intra-circle roaming, but cannot add new 3G customers in 7 circles, says SC

Supreme Court has ordered Bharti Airtel not to extend its 3G Intra-circle roaming services to new customers in the 7 circles, where it did not have licences for 3G spectrum, according to a report from The Economic Times. Airtel got a temporary relief earlier this week, when Supreme Court allowed them to continue their 3G intra-circle roaming till April 11th. Last month DoT had asked Bharti Airtel to stop 3G services in 7 circles and asked them to pay Rs. 350 crore (Rs. 50 crore per circle) for illegal roaming pact with Vodafone and Idea Delhi High Court temporarily stalled the execution of DoT’s order until the final hearing, after Airtel appealed against it. Nokia has announced the Lumia 521 exclusively for the T-Mobile USA. It features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8227 processor and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 OS. It has a 5MP auto focus camera at the back with 720p HD video recording. The phone is identical to the Lumia 520 in terms of hardware, but supports 4G on T-Mobile and has the carrier branding on the bottom. DoT asks Vodafone and Idea to stop 3G Intra-circle roaming


The Department of Telecom (DoT) have asked Vodafone India and Idea Cellular to stop 3G services outside their licensed zones in 3 days, according to a recent report by Economic Times. DoT has also asked these companies to pay Rs. 550 and Rs. 300 crore, respectively for violating licence norms. DoT had asked Bharti Airtel to stop 3G services in 7 circles last month and asked them to pay Rs. 350 crore (Rs. 50 crore per circle) for illegal roaming pact. Later Delhi High Court temporarily stalled the execution of DoT’s order until the final hearing, after Airtel appealed against it. First press image of the Nokia Lumia 928 for Verizon USA has surfaced online. The Nokia Lumia 928, a Lumia 920 variant have been rumored for few months under the codename Laser, and the image from evleaks confirms its existence. As you can see in the leaked image, it has a Xenon Flash, which is first for a Lumia device. It also has an LED flash on the back similar to the Nokia 808 PureView.
