HTC J One announced for Japan, packs a microSD card slot

HTC has announced the HTC J One (HTL22), a variant of the HTC One for Japan’s KDDI network. The global variant of the HTC One that was announced earlier this year doesn’t come with a microSD card slot but the HTC JOne for Japan has a microSD card slot, in addition to the 32GB internal memory. Other features are similar to the HTC One including a 4.7 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super LCD3 display at 468ppi,  1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processo, Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with the new HTC Sense UI and HTC BlinkFeed, 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera with LED Flash, BSI Sensor, Optical Image Stabilization ,F2.0 aperture and 28 mm lens Full HD (1080p) video recording with HDR Video and a 2.1MP HD front-facing camera with 88 wide angle lens with HDR.

LG Optimus it with 4.5-inch HD display, 1.7 GHz quad-core processor announced in Japan

NTT Docomo has announced the LG Optimus it (L-05E) for their Summer 2013 line-up. The Optimus it has a 4.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) True HD IPS display, powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064T processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13.2-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, BSI sensor for better low-light imaging and a 1.4-megapixel front-facing camera with a BSI sensor. It is 10.5mm thick and weighs 131 grams. It has IPX 5, 7 for water resistance. It runs on NTT Docomo’s Xi LTE service and has support for NOTTV support. LG Optimus G Pro (L-04E) goes on sale in Japan

LG has announced that the LG Optimus G Pro (L-04E) is now on sale in Japan from NTT Docomo. It was announced earlier this year as the part of NTT Docomo’s Spring lineup in the docomo NEXT series. It packs a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, powered by 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The Japanese variant is smaller than the International version that was unveiled in February. NTT Docomo to launch new Mobile Translation Apps

NTT Docomo, Japan’s largest telecom operator has announced that they would launch 2 new apps, Hanashite Hon’yaku and Utsushite Hon’yaku for their customers. The Hanashite Hon’yaku is the world’s first commercial mobile service for translation that would translate the conversations between people speaking Japanese to other languages. NTT Docomo introduced a text translation app earlier this May. Panasonic Eluga coming to NTT Docomo in Japan on March 29

Panasonic announced Eluga, 4-3-inch waterproof Android smartphone for Europe at MWC 2012 last month. NTT docomo has announced that it  will be available on March 29th as P-04D in their NEXT series. NTT Docomo announces new Android devices with V-High multimedia broadcasting service in Japan

NTT Docomo has announced 2 new Android devices that supports new V-High multimedia broadcasting service in Japan. This would let the users watch NOTTV, a mobile multimedia broadcasting station that will begin operating on April 1. The AQUOS PHONE SH-06D smartphone is waterproof and features a 4.5-inch high-definition glass-less 3D display with a 1.2 GHz dual core CPU. The MEDIAS TAB N-06D tablet is also waterproof and boasts a large 7-inch WXGA high-definition display and is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core CPU. NTT Docomo to develop mobile phone chips with Samsung, Panasonic and others

Japan’s largest telecom operator NTT Docomo has announced that they have made an agreement with five companies, Fujitsu, Fujitsu Semiconductor, NEC Corporation, Panasonic Mobile Communications and Samsung Electronics to create a joint venture company by the end of March 2012 that would develop and sell semiconductor products for mobile devices. Sony Ericsson Neo delayed , ARC and PLAY face supply issues !

Looks like the Sony Ericsson XPERIA NEO which was supposed to hit Europe this month has been delayed to July due to the destruction caused by the Japanese earthquake. Also the ARC and PLAY which hit stores recently are facing supply issues.
