Uber has launched uberAUTO, the company’s new services that lets you book a auto-rickshaw in Delhi. Uber currently has UberBLACK, UberX and the cheapest UberGO cab service in India. uberAUTO is currently cash-only service that requires you to pay cash at the end of your ride. HTC One M9 launching in India on April 14

HTC has sent invites for its Unveiling Brilliance event on April 14th in India. The  invite says “Brace yourselves as we get ready to showcase the most exciting revelation in the history of smartphones”, which makes it clear that it is launching the One M9 smartphone in India. The One M9 that was announced at the MWC last month has unibody build similar to the One M8, but this comes with a faster Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core SoC with 3GB RAM, 20-megapixel rear camera and an UltraPixel front-facing camera.

Snapdeal acquires mobile recharge service FreeCharge

Following acquisition rumors since last month, Snapdeal has officially scooped up popular mobile payment service FreeCharge. Both the companies did not disclose the financial details of the deal but one person familiar with the deal said the acquisition cost is $450 million paid through a mix of cash and equity.

Asus Zenfone 2 launching in India on April 23

Introduction

When Google announced the Nexus 6, there were two main issues that customers complained about. One was the pricing which was unusually high for a Nexus phone and secondly its size. The device housed a 6 inch display and made it one of the biggest phones on the market. While phablets are getting more and more in demand these days, 6 inch is still considered to be quite big unless you’ve bezels as slim as LG has managed on their G2/G3 and the Sharp Crystal series. That is why most manufacturers such as Samsung haven’t gone beyond 5.5” or 5.7” for their phablets fearing it may be deemed too large.
