In a bid to bolster the digital payments scene in India even further, PM Narendra Modi has roped in former UIDAI chairman Nandan Nilekani. According to a latest report from Bloomberg Nilekani has joined a panel to pave the way for digital payments in the country.

Panasonic has launched Eluga Prim, the company’s latest 4G smartphone with Voice over LTE (VoLTE) support in the ‘Eluga series’. It has a 5-inch HD IPS on-cell 2.5D curved Asahi glass display, is powered by 1.25 GHz quad-core processor, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with triple LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. nubia has sent out invites for the launch of Z11 and N1 smartphones in India on December 14th at an event in Delhi, couple of months after launching the Z11 mini smartphone in the country. The nubia Z11 that was introduced back in June in China has a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D border-less display and is powered by Snapdragon 820 processor. The nubia N1 has a 5.5-inch 1080p display and packs a 5000mAh battery. Both the phones have a unibody metal design.

The Rs. 148 pack offers 300 MB 4G data and free Local and STD Idea-to-Idea calls. The Rs. 348 pack offers free Local and STD calls to any network in India along with 1GB 4G data. It was introduced at the IFA in September, comes in Android 6.0 and Windows 10 versions, has a 10.1-inch Full HD IPS display, is powered by Intel Atom X5 processor with 4GB of RAM and has magnesium aluminium alloy body. It has two panels that open up like an ultra-thin notebook. It is just 9.6mm when closed, tapering to 4.05mm at its slimmest edge and weighs just 690 grams.
