Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Unboxing

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was launched in India just a week ago, with much fanfare and a hefty price tag. Priced at a steep Rs. 49,990, the device has finally landed in the retail market in India and we have swiftly picked up one from nearby. We recently checked out the excellent benchmark scores of the Snapdragon 800 version but the version launched in India sports a Exynos 5 Octa(We’ll be posting benchmarks for this too), and that’s the one we are checking out today. A 5.7 inch 1080p screen, 3GB of RAM, one of the first USB 3.0 interfaces on a phone and a 13 Megapixel camera checks all the spec requirements for a top end flagship device. Gionee Elife E6 now available in India for Rs. 22165

We already know that the Elife E6, Gionee’s latest flagship is slated to launch in India on October 3rd. Now the phone is available from online retailer Snapdeal, ahead of official launch. The Elife E6, successor of the Elife E5 has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display based on one-glass solution (OGS+) technology, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6589T processor processor and runs on Android 4.2. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f2.2 wide angle lens, BSI sensor, LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 28mm wide angle lens. BlackBerry Z10 price temporarily drops to Rs. 29990 in India

BlackBerry India known for offers on their devices during the festive season. We have already seen price cuts and free goodies for the PlayBook, now the company has slashed the price of the BlackBerry Z10 temporarily. The BlackBerry Z10 was launched in India at a hefty price tag of Rs. 43490 back in February. Recently the company announced EMI schemes for the Z10 and up to Rs. 11000 discount on the Z10 in exchange for old phones. Sony Xperia M Dual SIM now available in India for Rs. 14490

Sony Xperia M that was announced back in June along with the M Dual went on sale in India last month at Rs. 12,990. Now the Xperia M dual is available from online retailer Snapdeal. Apart from the dual SIM support, other features are similar to the single-SIM variant including a 4.0-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8227 processor with Adreno 305 GPU. Sony’s Xperia M dual White Paper says that it comes with Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), but both the online retails have mentioned it as Android 4.1. Amazon Kindle Fire HD gets a price cut in India, now available for Rs. 11,999

Amazon just announced their new series of Kindle Fire HDX and now we are seeing a price cut on the existing model of Kindle Fire HD in India. Originally, the 16GB version Kindle Fire HD was available for Rs. 15,999 and now it is available for Rs. 11,999 (while the 32GB version is now available for Rs. 15,999). The price cut comes just ahead of the launch of new generation Kindle Fires.

It has a 10.1 inch (1024 x 600 pixels) LED-backlit 16:9 capacitive multi-touch screen, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It is 11.6mm thick, has 1GB DDR3 RAM, 8GB of storage and supports 32GB extendable memory through Micro SD card. LG G2 32GB variant up for pre-order online in India for Rs. 43490

We already reported that LG would launch the LG G2, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in India on September 30th, Monday. The 16GB variant of the G2 went on sale in India online earlier this week, now the 32GB variant is available for pre-order from online retailer Flipkart. The LG G2 was announced last month and packs a 5.2-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display at 423 ppi, powered by a 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211 Benchmarks

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211-1

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab 3 211, the company’s latest 7-inch tablet in India back in July. We brought you the unboxing of the device last week, here we have the benchmarks of the tablet. It is powered by a dual-core Marvell PXA986 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and Vivante GC1000 GPU. The last year’s Tab 2 was powered by a dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor. Since this is a mid-range SoC, we can’t expect performance like the Exynos 4 Quad (4412) CPU present in the Note 8.0. Let’s check out how it performs when compared to ther other tablets in various synthetic benchmark tests.

NVIDIA unveiled the Tegra Note, the company’s first Tegra 4 tablet last week. It partnered with Xolo to launch the tablet in India. NVIDIA Co Founder, President and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang showed off the Xolo Play Tegra Note at an event in Mumbai yesterday. Panasonic T11, T21 and P11 officially launched in India, priced between Rs. 9790 and Rs. 16490

Panasonic India has officially launched three new smartphone, T11 and T21 in the T Series and P11 in the P Series. The company launched their first smartphone, the P51 in India back in May. The P11 and T11 appeared online back in July and went on sale last week. The Panasonic T11 comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display, Panasonic T21 has a 4.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and the Panasonic P11 comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. Both the T11 and P11 comes are powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, while the T21 has a 1.2 GHz dual-core Broadcom 28145 processor.
