Huawei Ascend P1 S world’s thinnest smartphone announced

Huawei has announced their world’s thinnest smartphone, Ascend P1 S that is just 6.68mm thin. It is 0.02mm thinner than the Fujitsu ARROWS ES IS12F while the Motorola RAZR is 7.1mm thin. It comes with 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels)  Super AMOLED display. It is powered by dual-core 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 Cortext-A9 processor and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. It weighs 110g.

Sony Xperia S announced, 4.3-inch HD display, 12MP camera and 1.5GHz dual-core processor

Sony Xperia S is the first smartphone under the Sony brand in the Xperia NXT next generation series announced at CES. It comes with 4.3 inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, 12MP camera with LED flash that can take shots in just 1.5 seconds directly from standby mode. It is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor and runs on  Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) that is upgradable to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) in Q2 2012. Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T packs 4.3 inch display, 1830 mAh battery, LTE and Front-facing camera

Nokia and AT&T today announced the Lumia 900 which supports AT&T’s 4G LTE network. The device looks very similar to the Lumia 800 but packs a bigger screen and battery. It packs a 4.3 AMOLED CBD display and a 1830 mAh battery.There is a 8MP camera on the back with Carl Zeiss optics and there is also the front-facing camera which was missing in the 800.We are not sure if this device will be coming to other countries but Nokia is betting big on the Lumia 900 and trying to re-enter America which is one of the most competitive mobile markets in the world today. RIM is showing a preview of the OS 2.0 software for the BlackBerry PlayBook at CES 2012 this week.Native email might finally arrive on the tablet. The best part is the ability to remote control the Playbook using a BlackBerry handset. Lenovo IdeaTab S2 Android 4.0 tablet announced with 10-inch IPS display and 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon CPU

Lenovo has announced IdeaTab S2 10, their first tablet that runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 10-inch (1,280 x 800 pixels) LED-backlit , Lenovo Mondrian UI and is powered by 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8960 dual core CPU. It is just 8.69mm thick and weighs 580 grams. Samsung Flexible Mobile AMOLED Display Pics

Samsung unveiled a 4.5-inch WVGA Flexible AMOLED display at CES 2011. The display is about  2mm thick and is flexible. The AMOLED runs at a 800 x 480 resolution (WVGA) and can be rolled down to a one centimeter radius. Sounds pretty awesome right ? Take a look at the pics for the proof.

Dell Streak 7 appears at T-Mobile USA site

BusinessInsider is reporting that Skype is planning to acquire  mobile video sharing service Qik for a whopping $100 million.Qik is available on all major mobile platforms including iPhone , Blackberry , Symbian , Android. The company has a great relationship with Handset makers and Carriers.The company announced 5 million users last month.
