Xolo has officially launched the B700, the company’s new Android smartphone with a 3450 mAh battery which offers 363 hours of standby 20 hours of talk time on 3G, up to 38 hours Music Playback via internal speakers and up to 86 hours via wired headset. Xolo promises 9 hours of video playback while using internal speakers and up to 10.5 hours while using a wired headset. The Xolo B700 went on sale online last week.

Xolo B700, the company’s latest Android smartphone with dual SIM support is now available from online retailer Flipkart. Xolo launched the A700, the first Android smartphone in the A Series powered by a MediaTek processor back in November last year. This is the first phone in the new B Series, which indicates the high capacitity battery. It has a 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels) 16M color capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It comes with a 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash at the back with 720p HD video recording and a VGA front-facing camera similar to the Xolo A700. Xolo X1000, the company’s latest Intel Medfield-powered Android smartphone was launched at an event in Goa, India yesterday. We brought you the hands-on photo gallery of the device from the event yesterday, here is the hands-on video of the device. The phone has good build quality, and the 4.7 inch HD Edge-to-edge curved glass display makes the device makes it stand out from other devices in the price range. It is powered by a 2 GHz Intel Atom Z2480 processor with a 400 MHz PowerVR SGX540 GPU and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), but Xolo has promised Jelly Bean update for the device in coming months.

It comes with a 8 MP rear camera with LED Flash, 1080p video recording and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. It also has Full HD video playback. Xolo A1000 is the company’s latest offering in the economy android phone market. Xolo has pitched the 5 inch screen phone, as one that can comfortably fit the consumers palm and budget. Xolo A1000 is priced at Rupees 13,999. The phone has width that measures nearly 70 mm, making the big screen phone easier to hold and function with the same hand. It also uses One Glass Solution technology. As the name suggests, only a single glass is used on the phone.
With these special features, will XOLO A1000 5 inch screen phone be able to stand tall, in a market that has already been swamped by competing brands. XOLO A1000 is not the first 5 inch economy phone in the android phone market. Micromax and Intex launched their 5 inch screen phones weeks before XOLO A1000 . Both phones are priced way below the new entrant’s MRP. Micromax A110 Canvas 2 and Intex Aqua 5.0, both were launched in December and are priced around 10,000 rupees. The latest Micromax A116 Canvas HD that we reviewed recently is priced similar to the Xolo A1000.
