Vivo U20 with 6.53-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 675, 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging launching in India on Nov 22

Update: Vivo has confirmed that the phone will feature a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with 90.3% screen-to-body ratio and a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging over USB Type-C. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack and the loudspeaker grill on the bottom. It also says that this has the biggest display in the Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000 segment, which hints that it should start under Rs. 12,000.

Vivo Y9s with 6.38-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 48MP quad rear cameras, in-display fingerprint scanner gets certified

After the Y7s and the Y5s, upcoming Y9s smartphone has been certified by TENAA in China with model numbers V1945T and V1945A revealing complete specifications. This reveals a 6.38-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, 2GHz processor which could be MediaTek Helio P65 12nm SoC with up to 8GB of RAM, 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide sensor, 2MP depth and a  2MP macro sensor, as well as a 32MP front-facing camera. It will likely feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and packs it shows a 4500mAh battery with support for fast charging.

Vivo rolls out new manufacturing facility in India; begins annual production of 8.4 million units

Vivo has just announced the roll-out of its new manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh, as part of its approximately Rs. 7,500 crore investment plan in India. This is phase 1 roll-out and the company will begin Phase II expansion from mid-2020.

Vivo Y91 and Y91i get a price cut again in India, now available starting at Rs. 6990

Vivo launched the Y91 smartphone earlier this year in India starting at Rs. 10,990 and later launched the Y91i smartphone starting at Rs. 7990. Vivo Z1 Pro gets up to Rs. 2000 permanent price cut in India, now starts at Rs. 13,990

Vivo launched the Z1Pro smartphone in India back in July starting at Rs. 14990, and it went on open sale few weeks after the launch. It was sold at discounted rate during festive sale last month. Today the company has announced up to Rs. 2000 permanent price cut for the phone, so it now starts at Rs. 13,990 for the 4GB + 64GB version, while the 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB versions are available for Rs. 14,990 and Rs. 15,990, respectively. It is available at new rates from Flipkart and vivo India eStore. It also offers no cost EMI up to 6 months.
