Sony today launched five new new wireless headsets – WF-SP700N truly wireless earbuds, Sony WI-C300, WI-SP600N and WI-SP500 in-ear headphones and WH-CH400 and WH-CH500 wireless on-the ear headphones. These were introduced at CES 2018 earlier this year. The WF-SP700N and WI-SP600N come with with support for noise-canceling technology blocks out distractions to keep you focused, while Ambient Sound Mode lets you enjoy your music and still hear your surroundings. The WF-SP700N, WI-SP600N and WI-SP500 are splash-proof with IPX4 ratings. Sony Xperia XA1, XA1 Plus, XA1 Ultra Android 8.0 Oreo update starts rolling out

Sony has finally started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Xperia XA1 series that includes XA1, XA1 Plus, and XA1 Ultra just as it promised. Sony Xperia XZ2 and XA2 series get A/B Seamless System updates

Sony has introduced the Seamless System updates feature to the Xperia XZ2 and XA2. Seamless System updates are the feature that Google introduced back during Nougat days. However, the feature never caught up and has not seen wide support from manufacturers. It’s only the Pixel phones that have support for seamless updates until now. Sony Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus Android 8.0 Oreo update starts rolling out in India

Sony Mobile launched Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus, two new mid-range smartphones exclusively in India last October running Android 7.1 (Nougat), and the company at the launch said that the phones will be upgraded to Android 8.0 (Oreo). Sony recently launched the RX0, the company’s latest compact camera in India. It was introduced at the IFA 2017 in Berlin last year, has a 1.0″-type stacked 15.3 MP Exmor RS CMOS image sensor, BIONZ X processor and a wide-angle ZEISS Tessar T 24mm F4 fixed lens to capture both RAW and JPEG stills and 4K video, full HD at 240 fps and super slow motion capture at up to 960 frames per second. It has a 5-inch Full HD+ 18:9 HDR screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform and runs Android 8.0 (Oreo).  It has a anti-scratch polycarbonate body compared to glass body on the XZ2 . Sony just announced the Xperia XZ2, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona, few months after the introduction of the Xperia XZ1 at IFA. It has a 5.7-inch Full HD+ 18:9 HDR screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform and runs Android 8.0 (Oreo). It has a 3D glass body and features the same Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back. It also has front facing stereo speakers with S-Force Front Surround. Very little was shown in the brief 23-second video, all we see is just a curved display indicating a smartphone with a curved display. Sony H8266 with Full HD+ 18:9 display, Snapdragon 845, Android 8.0 surfaces in benchmarks

Sony H8266 which surfaced back in December on the Geekbench benchmark results, is now again back in the news. This time it is the AnTuTu that is revealing more information about the upcoming Sony Xperia Flagship. While the previous leak suggested a regular 16:9 aspect ratio, the new development says that it will pack a Full-screen display with 18:9 Full HD+ display.
