Sony Mobiles have just released a new teaser video of its MWC 2018 event which kickstarts in a week at Barcelona. Sony H8266 which surfaced back in December on the Geekbench benchmark results, is now again back in the news. This time it is the AnTuTu that is revealing more information about the upcoming Sony Xperia Flagship. While the previous leak suggested a regular 16:9 aspect ratio, the new development says that it will pack a Full-screen display with 18:9 Full HD+ display. Sony confirmed list of smartphones that will get the Android Oreo update back in August last year. It started rolling out Oreo update for its old smartphones from October starting from Xperia XZ Premium. Now it has started rolling out the update for Sony Xperia X and Sony Xperia X Compact smartphones that were originally launched with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), and later got the Android 7.0 and 7.1 (Nougat) updates. Sony Mobile has launched Xperia L2, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘L series’ in India. It was introduced at the CES 2018 last month and packs a 5.5-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, is powered by quad-core MediaTek SoC and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera with 120-degree super wide-angle lens. Sony Corporation has reported its revenues for the third quarter of the financial year 2017 that ended December 31, 2017. Sales increased by 11.46% to 2,672.3 billion yen compared to the same quarter last year due to strong growth in its Gaming and Networking division, Semiconductors and others. Wireless audio has really come into a category of its own over the last two years or so. The ongoing trend of ditching the headphone jack on phones has, of course, spurred all manner of audio product manufacturers to get a move on. One of the newest form factors to hit the market is of truly wireless earphones.
