The Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos was the first device from the Korean chaebol to land its foot it in the highly competitive mid range phablet market. It was a big success, at least in the Indian market, but now we have its successor, the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. With an upgraded spec sheet that includes a better display, better processor and the Note 3-esque faux leather back cover, the Grand 2 has caught our fancy, especially at the price of Rs. 22,999. Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand 2 (SM-G7102) in India last month and announced that the phone would go on sale this month. It also announced that the phone would be priced between Rs. 22900 and Rs. 24900. Now the phone has been listed on the official Samsung eStore at a price tag of Rs. 22,999. The Grand 2 has a 5.25-inch (1280 x 720 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Samsung has announced the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, a cheaper version of last year’s Tab 3. This has a 7-inch (1024×600) TFT LCD display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on top. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite SM-T110 User manual leaks out

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite may not be official yet, but it sure will be among the cheapest tablets from Samsung when it is made official. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite’s user manual has leaked online in the company’s Polish website. Apart from the official leak, a Polish retailer has started taking orders for this cheap tablet – $165 for the WiFi model and $263 for the 3G Model.

Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) update for the Galaxy Note 3 starting from Poland, according to a report from Sammobile. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was the first phone from Samsung to run on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) out of the box. The company released their Galaxy Tablets at the CES 2014 last week running on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Looks like the Note 3 is the first Samsung smartphone to run on Android 4.4. Samsung Galaxy Gear price drops to Rs. 18999 in India

Samsung has dropped the price of the Galaxy Gear Smartwatch in India to Rs. 18,999, as reported by Mahesh Telecom. The Samsung Galaxy Gear was launched in India back in September last year at a price tag of Rs. 22,990, soon after it was announced at the IFA. It has a 1.63 inch (320 x 320 pixels) Super AMOLED display, powered by a 800 MHz processor and packs a 315 mAh battery. Samsung introduced the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, the company’s latest tablet with a huge 12.2-inch screen at CES earlier this week. Since this belongs to the Note category, it comes with a S Pen stylus that docks on the back of the tablet and has a Wacom Digitizer for pressure sensitive input. It has a 12.2-inch (2560×1600 pixels) WQXGA display, powered by a Octa-Core Exynos 5 or a quad-core Snapdragon 800 depending on the 3G and 4G LTE variants and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Samsung’s own Touch Wiz UI on top. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo Specifications leak, reportedly sports the first Hexa-Core Exynos

We have seen Samsung use the Neo branding for many of its mid range phones but it seems like they will be affixing it to popular high end models too. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo, which looks like a cheaper Note 3 in the making has just been revealed, with full specifications in tow thanks to leaked internal documents acquired by GSMArena. Samsung has a habit of refreshing older models with new names and slightly refreshed specs and that seems to be exactly what’s happening here. The Galaxy Note 3 Neo is basically a Note 2 with some modifications underneath, with one of the major changes being the processor. According to the leak, the Note 3 neo will have the first Hexa Core big.LITTLE Exynos processor inside, which might make things interesting.

Samsung announced the Galaxy Camera 2, successor of the first Galaxy Camera ahead of CES last week. We got some hands on time with the Galaxy Camera 2 at the CES this week. The Galaxy Camera 2 has a 16.3 Megapixel 1/2.3″ BSI CMOS sensor and has the same 21x Optical Zoom Lens along with Xenon Flash and OIS support. This has a leather texture on its body that is completely different from the plastic body in the first Galaxy camera. It also weighs a bit lesser than its predecessor.

Samsung Galaxy S3 gets Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update in India finally

Samsung has finally started rolling out Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) update for the Indian Galaxy S3 users. The update brings, Galaxy Gear support, improved Samsung Keyboard, new GPU drivers, New S-Voice (from Galaxy S4) and lots more. Samsung paused the roll out globally in November last year due to software issues weeks after the roll out and resumed it early December.
