Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ with 5.7-inch Quad HD display, 4GB RAM, 16MP camera announced

Samsung has announced the Galaxy S6 edge+ smartphone at the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event, as expected. It has a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display that is curved on both the sides, is powered by a Octa-Core ( Quad 2.1GHz + Quad 1.5GHz) Exynos 7420 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, OIS and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Quick Launch feature lets you launch the camera in less than one second by double clicking the home button, Auto Real-time HDR and new filters.

Samsung has officially announced its latest flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note5. The newest version of the device carries the Galaxy S6 design language.

Samsung France has accidentally made the pre-order page for the Galaxy S6 Edge+ live before it was pulled. This shows that pre-orders for the smartphone begins on August 21st in Europe. It also says that customers who pre-order the device between August 21st and September 3rd will get a free Level On Bluetooth headset, so the Galaxy S6 edge+ is expected to hit the retail shelves on September 4th. Samsung introduced the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini back in 2013, which was launched in India in July 2013, now the company has silently launched the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Plus (GT-I9195I) in Europe. This packs a faster Snapdragon 410 64-bit SoC and also comes with 4G LTE support. It also runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box. Other specifications are similar to the original Galaxy S4 Mini, including a 4.3-inch (960 × 540 pixels) qHD Super AMOLED display, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 1.9-megapixel HD front-facing camera. Samsung Galaxy A8 Hands On and Photo Gallery

After launching the successor Galaxy A8 in China last month, Samsung has now brought it to India and will start selling it from today across all retail and online channels at Rs. 32,500. In the Indian variant, Samsung has left out the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC and is using its own Exynos 5430 chipset. Rest of the specifications are same as the Chinese Galaxy A8. Samsung Galaxy A8 launched in India for Rs. 32500

Samsung has launched the Galaxy A8, the company’s latest top-end smartphone in its A series. It was announced earlier this month in China, packs a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with 2.5mm ultra-narrow bezels and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), but the Indian variant is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 5430 processor instead of Snapdragon 615 SoC. It has a full metal uni-body design, similar to the other A series smartphones and is just 5.9mm thick. It also has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button.
