Samsung has announced Gear Fit2, the company’s latest fitness tracker and the successor of the first Gear Fit that was introduced back in 2014. This has a 1.5-inch Curved Super AMOLED screen, runs Tizen OS and automatically tracks 15 different fitness activities such as walking, squatting, yoga, treadmill and more. Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro (SM-J3119) has surfaced in press shots. The phone will head to China Telecom and is expected to pack a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED screen, according to TENAA certification. GFXBench listing confirms Snapdragon 410 SoC and 2GB of RAM. The phone will also come with 4G LTE connectivity. Samsung has announced that it has begun mass production of industry’s first NVMe PCIe solid state drive (SSD) for next-generation PCs and ultra-slim notebook PCs. “Configuring the PM971-NVMe SSD in a single BGA package was enabled by combining 16 of Samsung’s 48-layer 256-gigabit (Gb) V-NAND flash chips, one 20-nanometer 4Gb LPDDR4 mobile DRAM chip and a high-performance Samsung controller,” said Samsung. Samsung has launched Galaxy Tab Iris with iris-recognition technology that is Aadhaar-compliant and STQC-certified under ‘Make for India’ initiative. Samsung Galaxy S7 Active rugged smartphone had already surfaced in live and press images. Most of the specifications of the phone were already leaked. Now @evleaks (Via Venture Beat) has revealed that the phone will come with a 4000mAh battery, will be 9.9mm thick and weigh 185 grams. It is also expected to come with the same 5.1-inch Quad HD screen instead of 5.5-inch screen as rumored earlier.

Samsung introduced an Edge variant of their Note smartphone alongside the Note 4 back in 2014. While the Note Edge wasn’t a runaway success and more of a prototype to test the market, Samsung decided not to bring out an Edge variant of the Note5 last year.
