Samsung has announced Galaxy J3 Prime, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the ‘J Series’. It packs a 5-inch HD display, is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 7570 14nm processor, runs on Android 7.0, has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Samsung Z4 user manual reveals dual LED rear flash, selfie flash, India launch expected soon

Samsung is all set to launch Samsung Z4, the company’s new Tizen OS smartphone and the successor of Samsung Z3 that was introduced back in October 2015. Samsung profits up 48% YoY in Q1 2017, mobile profits down 46% due to weak S7 sales

Samsung has reported its earnings for Q1 2017, in which the company has made operating profit of 9.90 trillion won ($8.7 billion), up 48.20% YoY for the quarter that ended March 31, 2017. This is its second biggest quarter ever and its highest ever for Q1, mainly to due to increase in memory and display businesses. It reported revenue of 50.55 trillion won (US$ $44.7), a slight increase from 49.78 trillion won last year and net profit of 7.68 trillion won (US$6.8 billion), a 46% increase from 5.25 trillion won for the same period a year earlier. Samsung has announced that it will roll out software patches for its flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone after some complained of reddish tint on the screen and WiFi issue that doesn’t let them connect to WiFi networks.
