Samsung has officially announced the Exynos 9 Series 9810 SoC, as it had promised, after it was revealed in CES 2018 Innovation Awards announcement. It is the successor of Exynos 9 Series 8895 SoC that powers the Galaxy S8 series and the Galaxy Note8. It is based on the 2nd generation 10-nanometer (nm) FinFET process technology, and has new eight-core CPU with four of the company’s powerful 3rd generation custom designed CPU cores along with other four optimized for efficiency and an industry-first 6CA LTE modem and deep learning processing capabilities.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users had reported on the Samsung community that the device is dying once the battery is drained completely. Users have complained that they couldn’t turn on the device even after plugging it into a power source. Samsung has announced that it will announce TheNextExynos, its next-gen flagship Exynos SoC on January 4th, 2018. It says that it will go beyond a component, so it will likely be the flagship SoC. This will probably be the Exynos 9 Series 9810 SoC that was revealed in CES 2018 Innovation Awards announcement back in November. Samsung is all set to launch a new Galaxy smartphone in India soon. It will be launched exclusively on Amazon.in soon. The page has several hints about the phone such as “On for a New Way To Shop?”, “On for a Superior Performance?” and “On for a Stunning New Look?” without revealing the name of the smartphone, but this reveals it will be an ‘On series’ smartphone, so it could be On5 or On7 2017 model.
