Samsung has announced T5, successor of last year’s T3 portable SSD. It has the same compact design and weighs just 51 grams, but this offers up to 540 MB/s transfer speed and uses USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps) interface compared to up to 450MB/s transfer speed and USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5Gbps) interface. Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro, successor of last year’s Gear Fit 2 has surfaced in press shots, thanks to @evleaks. This shows a new watch-style clasp, but the design is similar to the predecessor. This is said to come with IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance and will also be 5 ATM water resistance for use when swimming and will also offer swim tracking.

After several rumors Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S8 Active rugged smartphone that is shock-, shatter-, water-, and dust-resistant. It has a metal frame and bumper to protect against shock, abrasion, tilting or twisting and will be exclusively available from AT&T for a limited time. It has Bixby assistant, similar to the S8 series of phones, packs a shatter-resistant 5.8-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, 4,000mAh battery and has fingerprint and iris scanners. Samsung is said to introduce in-display fingerprint sensor with the Galaxy Note 9, according to latest report from KGI securities. The company will continue to put the fingerprint sensor at the back for Galaxy S9 similar to Galaxy S8 and S8+. However, Samsung could reposition the rear-mounted sensor on the S9 to a slightly more ergonomic position. Samsung has announced Flagship 8 (SM-G9298), its latest premium Android Flip phone and the successor of last year’s W2017 (SM-W2017) in China. It got certified by TENAA back in May and has dual 4.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED displays, so that you can use the phone even when it’s closed, has a 12-megapixel rear camera and a fingerprint sensor on the back.
After posting press shots of the upcoming flagship Galaxy Note8 smartphones, @evleaks has posted the detailed specifications of the phone that reveals 12-megapixel dual rear cameras, one with wide-angle lens (f/1.7) and other one with telephoto lens (f/2.4) offering 2x optical zoom. It also reveals 6GB RAM and 3300mAh battery.

Samsung is all set to unveil its flagship Galaxy Note8 smartphone at Galaxy Unpacked event on August 23. We had seen several render sketches of the phone, now we have the first press render of the phone, thanks to @evleaks. It shows a similar design as the Galaxy S8 with Infinity display with minimal bezels. All the important sensors including the iris scanner is seen on the top. We had seen the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active in live images and a press image last week. Now more press shots of the phone has surfaced, thanks to Android Police who has got hold of the Samsung employee training manual for the phone that coincides with earlier leak confirming Bixby Button. It also has MIL-STD-810G endurance rating.

Samsung today announced that it developed LTE modem technology f its next-generation mobile processors that supports 6CA (carrier aggregation) for the first time in the industry. This Cat.18 6CA-supported LTE modem technology will offer a maximum download speed of 1.2 gigabits per second (Gbps), compared to Cat.16 LTE modem with 1 gigabit (Gb) downlink speed in the Samsung Exynos 9 Series (8895) processor that powers the Samsung Galaxy S8 series of phones.
