Samsung Galaxy Fold successor with clamshell foldable design surfaces in live images

Samsung  at the Samsung Developer Conference 2019 (SDC19) back in October teased a new clam shell folding-screen form factor that it’s working on. Now the live images of the phone has surfaced in China. This shows the design of the phone that folds vertically to form a small and square form factor when closed. It also shows a punch-hole camera. Baidu’s KUNLUN AI accelerator chip announced in partnership with Samsung

Samsung has announced Galaxy A01 smartphone, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the ‘A series’. It has a 5.7-inch HD+ Infinity-V display, is powered by an Octa-Core processor, which could be Snapdragon 439, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with Samsung One UI, has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots and an 5-megapixel front camera with face unlock. Samsung Galaxy M11 (SM-M115F) and Galaxy M31 (SM-M315F) said to be in works

Samsung launched the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M30 smartphones earlier this year in India under M-series. The company released the next version, Galaxy M30s recently in India, but there was no information on the successor to the Galaxy M10 until now. Now, according to a new report, Samsung is said to be working on the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M31 smartphones which are expected to be launched next year.

Samsung says it has sold 1 million Galaxy Fold smartphones [Update: Nope]

Update: In a reply to Korean Media, Samsung spokesperson has confirmed that Samsung President Sohn Young-kwon may have confused the 1 million figure with the company’s initial sales target for the year, so the company has not sold 1 million Galaxy Fold phones yet.

Samsung has scheduled an event in Vietnam on December 12th to introduce its Galaxy A Series 2020 edition of smartphones. The teaser shows a punch-hole display, as rumored earlier for the A51 and A71 smartphones. Even though the teaser doesn’t confirm the name of the phone, but the source on the Samsung Vietnam landing page for the teaser mentions A51 and also SM-A515F, which is the product code for the phone.
