Update – June 21, 2019: Realme has started rolling out ColorOS 6 stable update for the Realme 2 Pro again after it was stopped due to bootloader issues last month. This has the build number RMX1801EX_11_A.21, includes Android security patch for May, 2019 and is 2.68GB in size. It is rolling out gradually, but you can download the update ZIP file from Realme website here and update manually.

Realme has been teasing the launch of the company’s latest realme X smartphone in India for later this year, after it was introduced in China earlier this month. Now Realme India CEO Madhav Seth, answering the questions of Realme fans has confirmed that the phone will be launched in India in the second half of 2019, which starts from July.

Update: May 13, 2019 — Couple of days before the launch, the company has shared official images of the phone with a no-notch screen with a pop-up front camera, in-display fingerprint scanner and dual rear cameras that includes a 48MP primary camera.
realme already confirmed that its older devices will get Android 9.0 (Pie) update along with ColorOS 6 soon. The company event rolled out Android Q beta 3 for its latest realme 3 Pro smartphone, which is the first phone in the range to support it. Now the company has confirmed that it will start beta testing for the Android Pie based ColorOS 6 update starting next week. This will also add Hyper Boost 2.0 for the devices with the update, expect realme 2, C1, and C2.

Realme launched its latest smartphone, Realme 3 Pro in India last month. Recently, a new Realme smartphone named Realme X with the no-notch display was certified by TENAA in China. In similar lines, Realme X has now received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification suggesting that the launch of the smartphone in India is imminent, after the China launch this month.
Realme launched the Realme 3 smartphone in March starting at Rs. 8999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version at Rs. 10,999. Two new Realme smartphones with model numbers RMX1901 and RMX1851 have been certified by TENAA in China. The RMX1851 is the Realme 3 Pro that was launched in India earlier this week, but the RMX1901 is a new model. The image shows a no notch on the front, so there might be a pop-up camera, gradient back, AI dual rear cameras and possibly an in-display fingerprint scanner since the is no fingerprint scanner on the back.
