HTC’s announcements at the Mobile World Congress revolved around their Desire series of handsets. The two devices announced ie the Desire 816 and 610 vary wildly in their target audience but do emphasize the focus on quality that HTC has maintained despite aiming to reach ever lower price points. The upper end device of the two ie the Desire 816 is the most powerful phone in the Desire series of phones and opts for a design that closely mimics the flagship ie the HTC One. HTC has unveiled the Desire 816, the company’s latest phablet at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It has a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display, powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android with HTC Sense 6.0 on top. Hands on with the Nokia X+: 10 EUR brings extra RAM and storage
Nokia’s Android phones are here and they are real. They launched three new Android devices and a Asha and a Nokia feature phone each, with the Android phones being the obvious highlight. A few years ago, one would never have imagined Nokia going down this after, especially after February 11 happened, but here we are, going hands on with Nokia’s own Android devices. Sort of a dream come true for many, we scrambled to try and get some decent time with all the devices and so here are our thoughts about the newly launched Nokia X+. Intel has unveiled the company’s latest 64-bit Intel Atom Processor Z3480 (formerly Merrifield) for smartphones and tablets and has also detailed their 64-bit 2.3GHz quad-core Atom Z3580 processor for Android devices, code-namedMoorefield. The Intel Z3480 is a dual-core chip based on 22nm process technology. The Atom Z3480 has PowerVR G6400 GPU and is optimized for Intel XMM 7160 LTE Modem. ZTE Grand Memo II LTE with 6-inch HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor announced

ZTE has unveiled the Grand Memo II LTE, the successor of last year’s Grand Memo at the MWC 2014 in Barcelona. It has a 6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with ZTE’s own MiFavor 2.3 UI on top. Nokia X Android Smartphone Hands on
Nokia held a press conference at MWC 2014 with the name – Under the Tree and announced a Android powered budget smartphone that has been in the rumor mill for quite some time now. Nokia X – Nokia’s newest range of budget smartphones, are powered by Android at heart, but use Microsoft’s services instead of Google’s services. Nokia X runs on Nokia X software platform which is a forked version of Android 4.1.2 Jellybean.

Sony Xperia Z2 Hands On and Photo Gallery
Sony has announced its new range of Android products as well as its flagship device ie the Xperia Z2 here at Mobile World Congress. The phone is more of an iterative update than a complete reimagining of the Xperia Z1 and so manages to maintain the same design identity. The design continues to be a combination of glass and brushed aluminum and looks absolutely stunning. That said, the tempered glass back is also extremely susceptible to fingerprints.

Nokia XL Dual SIM Android Phone Photo Gallery
Nokia has surprised every one of us with the launch of their first Android phones, the Nokia X, X+ and XL. All the three are based on a very similar design language, but differ somewhat in internals. The X+ has more RAM and a micro SD card in the box, the XL is very similar to the X+ but has a bigger screen, that’s basically it. The Nokia XL has a 5 inch IPS WVGA screen with blacks that look decently dark and colours that are unwashed. With a good large screen and decent internals, does Nokia have a winner in the cheap phablet category? LG L40 Hands On and Photo Gallery
FoneArena is live from MWC 2014 at Barcelona and LG is showcasing its Android smartphones that it announced just ahead of the MWC 2014. Among the many LG Android smartphones that there were, there was also the LG L40 which is LG’s entry range Android offering. We went hands on with the device and took a few photos as well.
Nokia X+ Dual SIM Android Phone Photo Gallery

Nokia has just announced its first range of Android phones under the “X” moniker and among them is the Nokia X+ Dual SIM Android phone, which differs slightly from its counterpart. The main difference here is the inclusion of a 4 GB micro SD card out of the box and the amount of RAM inside. The Nokia X+ has 768 MB of RAM, 256 higher than the Nokia X, which should help in some multitasking and better gaming, but otherwise, both the phones are very similar from the outside. It has a 4 inch WVGA screen, is powered by a 1 GHz Dual Core Snapdragon processor and best of all, runs on Android AOSP with a tile-like Nokia skin. Lets see some of the photos of this phone.
