Microsoft just sent out press invites for the Lumia 535 launch on November 26th. Microsoft will launch the Lumia 535 Dual SIM in India next week since it is listed on the official India website. Samsung announced the Gear S smartwatch in August and it went on sale in India earlier this month for Rs 27,900. We have already seen the unboxing and the photo gallery of the smartwatch and also went handson with it at IFA Berlin. Now lets compare the smartwatch to Samsung Gear Live that was announced at Google I/O conference in June. It launched in India in July for Rs 15,900.
The Gear S runs on company’s homegrown OS Tizen. It sports a 2 inch (360 x 480 pixels) curved Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1GHz Dual-Core processor. While the Gear Live runs on Android Wear and has a 1.63 inch touchscreen with a 320×320 resolution and is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor. Both the smartwatches have 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
The Gear S has sensors like Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Compass, Ambient Light, UV, Barometer. On the other hand the Gear Live has a heart rate sensor, pedometer, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Compass. Both the devices are IP67 Certified for dust and water resistance. Both the devices have the heart rate sensor and charging pins below the device. The Gear S comes with a built in SIM Card slot while the Gear Live does not have one.
The Gear S measure 23.4 x 57.4 x 11.95 mm and weighs 27g while the Gear Live is 8.9mm thick and weighs over 60g. Both the devices have 300mAh battery. In terms of connectivity Gear S supports 3G and Bluetooth 4.1 while the Gear Live supports Bluetooth 4.0.
Gear S has a signature home button below the display and the ambient light sensor is present next to it and has a stainless steel body and blue, black and white changing straps. The Gear Live also comes with a stainless steel body and a usual rubbery strap.
Earlier this month, Microsoft partnered with Dropbox to improve integration between Office and the cloud storage service. At that time Dropbox was added only to iOS devices. However, today the company is adding Dropbox integration to Office on Android.

Lenovo has launched a new REACHit app that will allow users to access, organize, search and share files no matter where they are stored. The app is an addition to Lenovo’s DOit suite of apps.
REACHit connects a user’s PC, Android or Apple iOS device and multiple cloud storage accounts from Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox and Box. It will come preloaded on all Lenovo systems starting in early 2015. Lenovo stated that the app’s simple GUI as manageable for most users, as well as its customizable views for data filtering and sorting. For Windows users, REACHit integrates into Windows File Explorer for searching storage locations within the Windows operating system.
REACHit allows users to move files from a phone to PC or between storage locations by dragging and dropping the files within the app’s interface. Users can also edit word documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in the cloud using the ZOHO document editor. Documents, pictures, videos and other files can be shared with friends and family via the SHAREit app, email, downloadable link and on FaceBook or Twitter.
The app is now available for free download on Lenovo.com, the Google Play store and the Apple App Store.
Google has acquired iOS app prototyping company RelativeWave for an undisclosed sum. RelativeWave is the company behind the mobile app prototyping software Form.
