OnePlus and Amazon have announced the first-ever open sale of OnePlus One smartphone in India only for one day on February 10th. Even though OnePlus introduced pre-order system back in October and had conducted several open sales since then, OnePlus has finally decided to introduce the system in India to celebrate the successful completion of 10 weeks of OnePlus in India. It was launched in India on December 2nd for Rs. 21,999 and it requires India-specific invite to purchase the smartphone on Amazon.in. Micromax appoints Shubhajit Sen as CMO

Micromax has announced that it has appointed Shubhajit Sen as its Chief Marketing Officer. He will replace Shubhodip Pal who was the company’s CMO since December 2012. Shubhajit Sen previously served as Executive Vice President – Marketing of Glaxo Smith Kline Consumer Health Limited for 21 years. He is an Economics graduate from SRCC, Delhi University and an MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad. He will focus on leading all marketing efforts for the company across markets while strengthening the overall brand communication, said Micromax. Lenovo appoints Qingtong Zhou as CIO, makes other leadership changes
