Rose Gold Oppo R7s to start rolling out from November-end
Apple released iPhone 6s and 6s Plus smartphones in new Rose Gold color, now every company has started releasing smartphones in Rose Gold color that has a mix of both Rose and Gold, making it look Pink. Even Samsung released the Galaxy Note5 in a similar color variant recently and called it Pink Gold, now Oppo has released Rose Gold variant of the R7s smartphone. Oppo A53 with 5.5 inch display, 2GB RAM gets certified at TENAA
Oppo A53, a new unannounced smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker has been certified at TENAA. Two other smartphones, OPPO A53m and OPPO A33m got the 3C certification in China recently. Out of these, Oppo A33m is already certified by TENAA and while the OPPO A53m looks like the variant of the Oppo A53.

Oppo releases ColorOS 2.1.5i final stable version for Find 7 and 7a, will now focus on AOSP ROM
Oppo has released stable version of ColorOS V2.1.5i ROM for the Find 7 and Find 7a smartphones. This will be the final version of ColorOS update for these devices, said the company since it will focus on AOSP ROM for the device that was announced recently. As it confirmed last week, the AOSP ROM for Find 7 / 7a based on Android 5.1 offering almost stock Android experience is already in private beta testing and the first public version will be available soon. Oppo has announced Neo 7, the company’s latest smartphone in the Neo series, as we exclusively reported last week. The successor of the new Neo 5 smartphone has a similar back with mirror finish, but this also has micro-arc frame with curved finish. Most of the specifications are similar to the Oppo Mirror 5 that includes a 5-inch qHD screen, Snapdragon 410 SoC, Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS with Color OS 2.1 on top, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, but this has 1GB of RAM instead of 2GB of RAM in the Mirror 5. Oppo will be announcing their newest smartphone, the Neo 7 on October 28. The device will be the successor of the mirror-backed Neo 5 and will first launch in the Indian market. However, we have learnt that the device will be offered in 17 other oversea markets.

OPPO announces AOSP ROMs for their devices
As we’ve said in the past, one of the main issues with OPPO is their software or rather the slow rate at which they release updates for their smartphones. Most OPPO smartphones run on older versions of Android and with ColorOS on top. While some users may be fine with the ColorOS UI, not many are fine with being stuck on an older Android version. Thus, OPPO’s announcement for AOSP (Android Open Source Project) ROMs for their devices will come as a big joy to many users and prospective buyers alike.

Oppo R7s with 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, 4GB RAM, metal body announced
Oppo has announced the Oppo R7s smartphone in the R series at the GITEX 2015 in Dubai, as it promised. It features a 5.5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display with 2.2mm narrow bezel, is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and runs on Color OS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has a magnesium aluminium unibody design, 2.5D Arc Edge screen and also has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It doesn’t have a finger print sensor like the Oppo R7 Plus, but it has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the R7 and the R7 Plus.
