Oppo is releasing an Android KitKat based ColorOS v2.0 update to Find 7 and Find 7a. This will not be an OTA update, and users will have to download the update package and move it to the root directory of the phone, then update while in recovery mode.

Cyanogen Camera App available in Play Store, works only with CM11S

Cyanogen has released the Cyanogen Camera app in the Play Store. However, its available only for devices running CM11S, which means that it is an exclusive to the OnePlus One.

OPPO seems to have learnt from its mistakes it made with the N1 last year. The smartphone was the first from the ‘N’ series, and during a time when Snapdragon 800 smartphones reigned, the N1 came with only a Snapdragon 600 to spark criticism from OPPO followers.

Despite being a ‘Chinese manufacturer’, costs of OPPO’s phones often are in line with those from other brands. This isn’t very apparent on high-end devices, but it certainly shows on mid-range and entry-level devices. Oppo has been teasing its Oppo N3 launch for October for the past few days, now the company has started sending invites for the launch even that is scheduled on October 29th in Singapore. The Oppo N3 would also feature a rotating camera, similar to the Oppo N1 and could feature LTE support as rumored earlier, but other details of the smartphone are not available yet. The Oppo N1 mini comes in a smaller package and is priced at Rs. 26,990 in India, slightly cheaper than the N1 that now retails for Rs. 32,990. Oppo N1 Mini Camera Samples

Oppo N1 Mini is the company’s latest camera-centric smartphone with a 206-degree swivel camera that was launched in India last month. It has the same 13 Megapixel camera with 1/3.06″ Sony EXMOR RS sensor, six-element lens and an aperture of f2.0 that we had seen on the Oppo N1.
