OPPO F11 Pro Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition to be introduced on April 24

OPPO introduced F11 Pro smartphone last month. Now the company has announced that it will introduce Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition in partnership with Marvel in Malaysia on April 24th, ahead of the movie release next week. This comes with Blue and Red colors along with Avengers logo on the back similar to Captain America logo. It will also come with 128GB storage compared to 64GB in the standard version.

OPPO Reno with 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855, 10x hybrid optical zoom, in-display fingerprint sensor announced

OPPO just announced its Reno series at an event in China, as it had promised. The standard version has a 6.4-inch Full HD + AMOLED display and is powered by  Snapdragon 710, the 10x loss less zoom version comes with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with ultra narrow bezels and 93.1% screen-to-body ratio. Both these have up to 8GB of RAM, Game Boost 2.0, run Android Pie with ColorOS 6 on top and a 48-megapixel primary rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor.

OPPO Reno with 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 48MP rear camera teased in official renders

OPPO is all set to announce  its Reno series on April 10. After case renders of the smartphone and TENAA certification last week, the smartphone has been teased by an online retailer in China with complete set of renders. This shows the no-notch  6.4-inch AMOLED screen, dual rear cameras, including a Sony IMX586 48MP main camera.

OPPO Reno case renders, video show new pop-up camera design, no-notch display [Update: Detailed specifications]

Update: March 29, 2019: Detailed specifications of the standard edition of OPPO Reno with model numbers PCAM00 and PCAT00 have been certified by TENAA revealing detailed specifications.  This shows a compact body even though it has a large 6.4-inch screen.

OPPO AX5s with 6.2-inch 19:9 Waterdrop notch display, dual rear cameras, 4230mAh battery announced

OPPO has silently introduced AX5s smartphone in Taiwan, and it is expected to be introduced as A5s in other markets. This has similar specifications as the A5 that was introduced last year, including a 6.2-inch HD+ waterdrop notch screen, 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera, 8-megapixel front camera and a 4230mAh battery, but this is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC instead of Snapdragon 450. OPPO to launch new Reno series smartphone on April 10

OPPO has announced that it will launch a smartphone under new Reno series on April 10th. This is rumored to be the company’s flagship smartphone, after the Find X series, and some reports say that it will replace the R series. OPPO says that this is not a sub-brand like the Realme that later became a separate brand. It is rumored to pack a Snapdragon 855 SoC, 10X hybrid optical zoom and a 4065mAh battery.

Along with the F11 Pro, OPPO also launched the F11 with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display and a 16-megapixel camera inside the notch in India. Other specifications are the same, including the Octa Core MediaTek Helio P70 12nm SoC, 48-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera, rear mounted fingerprint sensor and a 4020mAh battery with VOOC flash charge 3.0 fast charging, but this comes with 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version. OPPO confirms it is working on a foldable smartphone, teases it in images

After Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X, OPPO has confirmed that it is working on a foldable smartphone. The company’s VP Brian Shen has posted several images of the phone. The design of the phone looks similar to the Huawei Mate X that features two displays that unfold to form a large-screen tablet tablet, however the screen looks slightly bigger than 8-inches.

OPPO unveils its first 5G smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855

Other than its 10x optical zoom camera tech, OPPO also unveiled its first 5G smartphone at its ‘Get Closer’ MWC event in Barcelona. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform with Snapdragon X50 5G modem. OPPO did not share the model number of the phone or when it will launch, but the device shown looked similar to the Find X without a notch. The company even unveiled its 5G-ready prototype based on the Find X, a developer version with integrated communication capabilities in December.

OPPO smartphone with 10x Lossless Zoom Camera coming in Q2 2019

OPPO teased the 10x hybrid optical zoom camera technology at an event in China. As promised, the company has revealed more details about the technology. We already know that the 10x lossless zoom camera tech uses three-camera solution that includes a Super Wide Angle, Ultra Clear main sensor and a Telephoto lens. Today the company has confirmed that the main camera uses a 48-megapixel sensor, a 120 degree ultra-wide lens with equivalent focal length of 15.9mm, which provides wide-angle shots and the telephoto camera offers 159mm equivalent focal length.
