Now the successor of the phone code-named Ebba has surfaced in CAD renders, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a familiar left punch-hole 6.49-inch flat screen, the same as the predecessor, but it is not clear if the phone will retain the FHD+ 90Hz LCD screen or move to a 120Hz screen. Ahead of the launch on March 23rd, OnePlus today confirmed that the OnePlus 9 Pro will support Warp Charge 50 Wireless, which is the company’s first 50W wireless charging technology. It introduced wireless charging tech in the OnePlus 8 Pro with Warp Charge 30 that took 30 minutes to charge the phone’s 4510mAh battery from 0 to 50%. The OnePlus 9 Pro’s 50W wireless charger will take 43 minutes to charge the phone from 1% to 100%. In China OnePlus has confirmed that it will come with the same 4510mAh battery as the 8 Pro. OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 to OnePlus Nord earlier this month. Last week the announced that the update has been temporarily paused since some users reported bugs after the update. Earlier this week OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus 9 series smartphones will be introduced on March 23rd. Now the press images of both the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro have surfaced. This shows the OnePlus 9 Pro’s 6.7-inch Quad HD+ (3120 x 1440 pixels) 120Hz curved screen. The phone will use 48MP Sony IMX789 main and a 50MP Sony IMX766 ultra-wide cameras. It also has laser autofocus and two additional cameras, which is said to be 8MP 3.3x telephoto camera with OV08a10 sensor and a 2MP GC02m1b for depth / macro. It is said to retain the 16MP IMX471 front camera from the predecessor. OnePlus Nord with Snapdragon 765G was introduced back in July last year. This year around the same time the company is said to introduce the Nord 2 smartphone, but instead of Snapdragon SoC, OnePlus is said to move to MediaTek’s latest flagship Dimensity 1200 6nm SoC that supports ultra-fast 168Hz refresh rates in FHD+. OnePlus has posted a new teaser image that says ‘Something new is on the horizon’ along with March 8th date on the OnePlus India website and social channels. OnePlus has finally started rolling out OxygenOS 11-based Android 11 for OnePlus Nord after two beta updates. It’s worth noting that the OnePlus 7 and 7T series is yet to taste the Android 11. Back in January, OnePlus released the Open Beta versions of Oxygen OS 11 for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series of smartphones. OnePlus CEO already confirmed that the company will launch its first smartwatch in 2021, and it was spotted on IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) website in India a few months back with the name OnePlus Watch and the model number W301GB. After the CAD renders that surfaced last year, live images of the upcoming OnePlus 9 Pro has surfaced, thanks to the YouTuber Dave2D who got hold of the images. It should be the prototype of the OnePlus 9 Pro, but it is not clear if this will be the final version. This shows Hasselblad branding in the quad camera module for the first time in a smartphone. We had already seen Hasselblad partnering with Motorola for the Hasselblad TrueZoom Moto Camera Mod. Earlier rumours said that OnePlus was in talks with Zeiss.
