OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro smartphones last month. The phones are getting a new OxygenOS 11.2.2.2 update that brings several camera improvements including better sharpness, noise and white balance for the rear camera, improved white balance for the front camera and more after feedback from the users. After months of delays, OnePlus has finally started rolling out Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 update for the OnePlus 7T and the OnePlus 7T Pro smartphones. OxygenOS 11 beta had always on display feature, but the stable version doesn’t have it, but it might come in another update in the future. Some users are also reporting camera issues with the update, so it is not clear if the company will push another update to fix it. It has a 6.55-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 16-megapixel in-screen camera with Sony IMX471 sensor. The phone has a flat Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 870 SoC with built-in 5G NSA / SA, larger vapor chamber to keep temperature low when gaming, has up to 12GB of RAM, and runs Android 11 with OxygenOS 11.

OnePlus has been teasing its first OnePlus Watch on its social channels ahead of launch on March 23rd, which is tomorrow. Recently the company’s CEO Pete Lau posted an image of the watch on weibo that shows a circular dial, metal casing and a curved screen. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau earlier today posted on weibo confirming that OnePlus 9 series smartphones will run ColorOS 11 in China compared to HydrogenOS, which is a customized version of the OxygenOS that is present in the global version. OnePlus introduced the Nord N10, its budget Nord smartphone back in October last year for the Europe and North Amercian markets. Now the successor of the phone code-named Ebba has surfaced in CAD renders, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a familiar left punch-hole 6.49-inch flat screen, the same as the predecessor, but it is not clear if the phone will retain the FHD+ 90Hz LCD screen or move to a 120Hz screen. Ahead of the launch on March 23rd, OnePlus today confirmed that the OnePlus 9 Pro will support Warp Charge 50 Wireless, which is the company’s first 50W wireless charging technology. It introduced wireless charging tech in the OnePlus 8 Pro with Warp Charge 30 that took 30 minutes to charge the phone’s 4510mAh battery from 0 to 50%. The OnePlus 9 Pro’s 50W wireless charger will take 43 minutes to charge the phone from 1% to 100%. In China OnePlus has confirmed that it will come with the same 4510mAh battery as the 8 Pro.
