OnePlus just launched the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, the company’s latest mid-range Nord smartphone and the successor to the first Nord that was launched last year. After teasers, OnePlus has confirmed the launch of OnePlus Buds Pro, the company’s first high-end true wireless earbuds on July 22nd, alongside the Nord 2. The image confirms an in-ear design with ear tips, a stem design that has a glossy finish and the other parts have a matte finish. It has also confirmed the features of the earbuds that include adaptive noise cancellation that uses three microphones to monitor exterior noise and intelligently produce noise-canceling counter frequencies. OnePlus launched the Nord CE 5G, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Nord series, cheaper than the last year’s Nord, which was one of the successful smartphones from the company. This retains the same FHD+ AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate from the Nord, but replaces the Snapdragon 765G with the Snapdragon 750G and also brings back the 3.5mm audio jack which the Nord lacked. OnePlus has finally confirmed that the company’s upcoming Nord2 5G smartphone will use the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, after the rumours from earlier this year and a recent render leak. The company said that this will bring new AI based features to the OnePlus Nord 2 5G to enhance the user experience across various touchpoints. To highlight the new AI capabilities of the chipset, OnePlus and MediaTek are calling it Dimensity 1200-AI, which the companies say will distinguish it from the standard Dimensity 1200.
