OnePlus Nord2 5G confirmed to be powered by Dimensity 1200-AI SoC ahead of India launch

OnePlus has finally confirmed that the company’s upcoming Nord2 5G smartphone will use the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, after the rumours from earlier this year and a recent render leak. The company said that this will bring new AI based features to the OnePlus Nord 2 5G to enhance the user experience across various touchpoints. To highlight the new AI capabilities of the chipset, OnePlus and MediaTek are calling it Dimensity 1200-AI, which the companies say will distinguish it from the standard Dimensity 1200. OnePlus 9T with 108MP Hasselblad quad rear cameras rumored to launch in Q3 2021

OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9 series smartphones that includes the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro with the camera co-developed with  Hasselblad as a part of its three-year partnership. OnePlus Nord 2 with 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 1200 surfaces in renders

After the Nord CE 5G and the Nord N200, OnePlus is said to be gearing up to launch the OnePlus Nord 2, the company’s next mid-range smartphone and the successor to the first Nord. Now the CAD-based renders of the smartphone has surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a 6.43-inch punch-hole screen, same as the Nord CE, and this should be the same FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The camera part looks similar to the OnePlus 9 series. OnePlus just launched the OnePlus Nord CE (Core Edition) 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in the Nord series as it had promised. It has a 6.43-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, features a 16-megapixel camera. It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 750G SoC with X52 5G modem that supports SA and NSA 5G and has N78 for India. The phone runs Android 11 with OxygenOS 11 with a promise of 2 years of software updates and 3 years of security updates.
