OnePlus just launched the Nord Buds, the company’s first Nord series TWS earbuds in India, as it had promised. It has Bluetooth 5.2, 94ms ultra low latency and 12.4mm titanium dynamic drivers tuned for rich bass. It has an ergonomic in-ear design and fits better in the ear canal, says the company. The earphones support touch controls, but lacks wear detection for autoplay / pause.
The earbuds have a metallic look and feel thanks to non-conductive vacuum metallization – the same process used to create the OnePlus Buds Pro’s three colorways. The OnePlus Nord Buds are IP55 rated against water and sweat. Additionally, the earbuds have a sweat-resistant hydrophobic nano-coating that protects them against corrosion.
A single earphone is as light as about 4.8g, which is light and comfortable to wear. You can choose from three pairs of large, medium and small silicone earplugs. It promises up to 30 hours of total playback on a single charge and up to 7h standalone playback. The earbuds feature Flash charge that offers 5 hours of listening time with a 10-minute charge.
