OnePlus has launched its latest affordable flagship – the OnePlus 10R in India. The OnePlus 9R’s successor offers numerous upgrades like a better display, fast charging technology, and a powerful chipset. However, the most notable change of all is its refreshing design.
The OnePlus 10R sports a new design that evolves the aesthetic of previous OnePlus R series devices. It takes OnePlus’ core burdenless, unified, and stylish design philosophy even further.
The device’s design starts with the rear cover that features a nano-level dot matrix arrangement that ensures it has a strong resistance to fingerprints. Notably, this process is used to create a unique and stylish pattern below the device’s camera module.
At 186 grams, the OnePlus 10R sports flat sides, which not only accentuates its slim 8.17 mm design but provides improved grip and comfort, particularly when holding the device horizontally for prolonged periods.
“Using pioneering high-precision lithography, the alluring tactile experience accurately conveys the rich texture of the glass. With enhanced fingerprint resistance, dual textures blend a dynamic visual effect with a premium experience. The camera module is a compelling design statement, underscoring a bold future,” says the company.
As far as camera hardware is concerned, there’s a triple rear camera system on the back, highlighted by a 50MP (Sony IMX766) primary shooter on the top and backed by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens just below it.
The OnePlus 10R comes in two colors in India: Sierra Black and Forrest Green with a unique and stylish pattern that highlights a different shade of black or green, depending on the colorway.
The OnePlus 10R is shipped with Android-based OxygenOS 12.1 out of the box, which complements the refreshing design with a burdenless design and new features centred around work, rest, and plays.
If you are more into software, customisations, and updates, the OnePlus 10R is an ideal option since it will offer three major Android updates and four years of security updates.
The phone comes in a standard edition with a 5000mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC fast charging that can charge from 1 to 100% in 32 minutes and there is also a 150W SUPERVOOC Edurance Edition with a 4500mAh battery that can charge up to 100% in 17 minutes and comes with a 160W SUPERVOOC Adapter in the box. The company says that even after 4 years or 1600 charging cycles, the phone can retain the battery health of over 80%.
The OnePlus 10R 80W model starts at at Rs. 38,999 for the 8GB + 128GB and the 150W model in 12GB + 256GB version costs Rs. 43,999. It will be available from May 4th on Amazon.in, OnePlus India website, Store app and offline stores.
