OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 2 smartphone yesterday. On the official website, including the OnePlus India website only the FDD-LTE bands were mentioned initially. Now the company has updated the website to add list of TDD-LTE bands. So the OnePlus 2 supports both TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz) and FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) for India. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD In-Cell display, is powered by a 64-bit Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor v2.1 with Adreno 430 GPU and runs on Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Laser Auto focus, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has aluminum alloy frame. OnePlus 2 live images surface hours before the launch

OnePlus 2 has surfaced in live images on XDA forum (Via) through a beta tester in China. This coincides with the image seen in the TENAA listing. These images show the smartphone from all the angles that includes a metal frame and removable back cover with Sandstone Black finish that has a hidden SIM tray with dual SIM support that was confirmed by the CEO recently.The battery is not removable, similar to the Moto G series of smartphones.

OnePlus 2 launch is just a few days away. We already know most of the specifications of the smartphone. Now a variant of the smartphone, ONE A2001 has surfaced in a AnTuTu video in China that shows the smartphone with a physical home button, similar to the smartphone spotted at TENAA. This reveals a score of 49,221, which is less than other smartphones powered by a Snapdragon 810. This runs on Android 5.1.1-based H2OS, a version of Oxygen OS for China, which might not be optimized. It also shows 4GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 1080p display. OnePlus 2 has finally been certified on TENNA (Via) in China, which shows the image of the upcoming smartphone. This reveals a home button below the display, which is likely to have fingerprint sensor, as the company confirmed earlier. There is a laser auto focus on the back for the camera along with a dual-tone flash. It also shows the same sandstone finish on the back, but the company will sell style swap covers separately. OnePlus CEO Liu Zuohu aka Pete Lau has confirmed on weibo (via) that the OnePlus 2 smartphone will come with dual SIM support with dual standby. However, he did not confirm if the OnePlus 2 will have a microSD card slot, which the OnePlus One lacks. Since we have seen are several smartphones with hybrid SIM support that lets the second SIM slot double up as a microSD card slot when required, there might be a possibility of this too.
