OnePlus introduces two extended service plans for OnePlus 2 in India

OnePlus has introduced extended service plans, B2X Service and B2X Protect for the OnePlus 2. Every OnePlus 2 smartphone comes with manufacturer’s warranty for the device for up to a year from the date of purchase. The new B2X Service plan cover all defects that are covered under manufacturer’s warranty for another more year after the expiry of the original manufacturer’s warranty for the device and the B2X Protect service covers accidental, physical & liquid damage to OnePlus 2 during the first year of the product purchase, says the company.

B2X is the authorized service partner for OnePlus products in India and will assist the customer in case of a device related issue which is serviced or repaired by authorized experts.

B2X Service for OnePlus 2

  • Extends manufacturer’s warranty by 1 additional year
  • Fully covered during 2nd year of purchase
  • Single window support by B2X and OnePlus
  • Direct Support by Authorized Service Centres
  • Need to be purchased within 30 days of purchase of the OnePlus 2 and register at B2X Care within 7 days of purchase of plan

B2X Protect for OnePlus 2

  • Fully covered during 1st year of purchase
  • Accidental damage and liquid damage protection
  • 100% cashless coverage
  • Free pick-up and drop services
  • Direct Support by Authorized Service Centres
  • Single window support by B2X and OnePlus
  • Need to be purchased within 10 days of purchase of the OnePlus 2 and register at B2X Care within 7 days of purchase of plan

B2X Service for OnePlus 2 is available from Amazon for Rs. 999 and the B2X Protect for OnePlus 2 is available from Amazon for Rs. 1299. Wish OnePlus had introduced the service during the launch in August since several users who had got the phone a over a month back cannot get these plans. OnePlus opened 9 new service centres in India ahead of the launch of OnePlus 2 smartphone back in July. At that time it had 45 services centres in the country, later it added 14 more services centres in August partnering with B2X Service Solutions and Regenersis (India) Private Limited. Currently OnePlus has 59 services centres in India.
