Nokia N82 Vs N86 8MP Camera Comparison

Nokia’s most recent imaging flagship, the Nokia N86, claims to be one of the best camera phones on the market. With an 8MP camera sensor, a wide-angle lens, a Dual-LED flash and an aperture size that should make clear night photos, it is clear that the N86 8MP has the big guns out. But the main question remains about how its camera performs in comparison to Nokia’s tried-and-true camera flagship, the Nokia N82 with its Xenon flash and 5MP sensor

Nokia Posts 426 Million Operating Loss

Nokia has reported its Q3 2009 results and it reported an operating loss of 426 million euros  compared to an operating profit of 1.5 billion euros Q3 2008. This is said to be Nokia’s first quarterly loss in over a decade.This is mainly due to a goodwill write down for Nokia Siemens Networks (1.17 Billion Euros). I am one lucky guy, I know that, I get to attend the premier events around the world when it comes to mobile technology and I get to play with the latest and greatest devices.  Sometimes devices I’m not at liberty to talk about for months.  So when I was at CTIA last week in San Diego I made sure to take a look at the N900.  My short introduction to it really hooked me.  I’m a big fan of HootSuite, a web based Twitter app and I was happily shocked when Chanse Arrington got it running on his N900 without any hitch or tweaking of settings during the GoMo News Blender.  I mean I was really impressed.  Then the next day Joe Gallo had 24 apps running simultaneously on his N900.  That’s not a typo, he really had 24 going. Nokia N97 works with the Apple Wireless Keyboard

I personally love the tilt angle of the screen on the N97. Its perfect for reading tweets and messages when you are at work. But one problem with typing on the N97 ( until the v2.0 software update coming out soon) is the requirement to press two keys to get number entered. I ve been spoilt by QWERTY phones like the E71 and Blackberries , so I have never been a huge fan of T9 mode.image

So i decided to test the my lovely Apple wireless keyboard with the Nokia N97 and the great news is that it Works !

Nokia has officially announced the Qt port to Maemo5 Linux and shows it off on Video using the eagerly awaited Nokia N900 .Qt comes to Nokia from the  acquisition of Norwegian company Trolltech back in 2008 and it was formerly referred to as Qtopia.Enjoy the video after the jump.
