itel has announced a complete transition to Type-C charging across its entire feature phone lineup. By phasing out micro-USB (Type-B) ports, the brand becomes one of the first in the entry-level segment to adopt the universal charging standard universally across all its models.
While Type-C ports are standard across modern smartphones and select mid-tier feature phones, the technology has remained rare in the lowest-priced feature phone segment due to cost constraints. This move aims to bring the standard to entry-level devices, aligning the feature phone category with broader industry trends.
