Microsoft has announced the next feature update to their Window 10 operating system, called version 21H1. It succeeds last year’s 20H2 update, and brings with it security, remote access and quality improvements, along with updates to few core user experiences.
Microsoft has released a new accessory for the Xbox Series X and Series S, called the Xbox Wireless Headset. It features a premium design, built-in mic with smart features, support for Dolby Atmos and DTS Headphone: X, multiple device pairing, and more.
Microsoft has begun testing a web browser client for their xCloud game streaming service. The test is reportedly being conducted ahead of a public preview, and it gives a peak into how the final version of the streaming service will look when it launches soon.

Microsoft has opened their 3rd India Development Center (IDC) facility at NCR, which will serve as an engineering hub to collaborate and build products with Microsoft’s teams globally. The facility will work alongside the other IDC facilities in Bangalore and Hyderabad, providing opportunities for the various areas of business in Microsoft.

Microsoft has announced a new update to their Surface devices, with the launch of the Surface Pro 7+ for business customers. It has been upgraded with Intel’s new 11th Gen Core processors, offers LTE connectivity options, a removable SSD and a longer battery life.
Microsoft has recently been pushing hard with their game subscription Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, bundling it with the latest Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S through the Xbox All Access service. Microsoft has now announced that Game Pass Ultimate support will be coming to Windows and iOS in 2021.

New leaks of the upcoming Surface Pro 8 and Surface Laptop 4 from Microsoft have surfaced after the device passed certification in South Korea. The two devices are expected to launch sometime early next year and will feature the same exterior designs with new updated Intel and AMD processors.

After the announcement back in May this year, Microsoft today started rolling out the Surface Go 2 and Surface Book 3 in India. The Surface Go 2 sports a larger 10.5-inch PixelSense display with 10-point multi-touch and still retains the 3:2 aspect ratio. The display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 and it is powered by up to 8th Gen Intel Core m3 processor, while the base model is still powered by the Intel Pentium Gold Processor 4425Y. Since Microsoft announced that Window 10 will be the final update to the OS, they have released many updates that brought many improvement and new features. However, the UI has mostly remained the same. This might be changing next as Microsoft is reportedly planning on bringing a major update to many core applications like the Start Menu, File explorer, etc.
While the Xbox’s primary purpose is play games, it also has the ability to browse the web and discover content. To make this experience better, Microsoft has introduced the Bing app to both the Xbox Series consoles and the Xbox One consoles, where users can access the many functions of the web directly from their console.

After many months of teasing, Microsoft has finally announced that November 10th, 2020 will be the launch date for their two next generation Xbox consoles, and they launched the Xbox All Access starting at $24.99 a month. The launch price for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S were also announced at $499 (Approx. Rs. 36,600) and $299 (Approx. Rs. 21,930) respectively in the US. In India the Xbox Series S is priced at Rs. 34,990 and the Series X will cost Rs. 49,990 with pre-orders starting on September 22 ahead of launch in November 10th in India.
With the announcement of the Xbox Series X, there were multiple rumours of Microsoft working on a smaller, less powerful console. Microsoft has now confirmed these rumours by revealing the Xbox Series S in a tweet. It is the smaller sibling to Series X and Microsoft has even announced its price — $299 (Approx. Rs. 21,956) in the US and £249.99 (Approx. Rs. 24,150) in UK.
