Lenovo has introduced (Via) Vibe P1 Turbo, a variant of the Vibe P1 with 3GB of RAM in Indonesia. Apart from RAM, other specifications are similar to the P1, including a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, fingerprint scanner embedded on the Home button, 24W quick charge function that can rapidly charge the 2000mAh of phone’s battery in just 30 minutes and a OneKey Power Saver switch on side to improve the battery life. Lenovo records $12.9 billion in revenue, down 8 percent year-over-year in Q3 2015

Lenovo has announced results for its third fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2015. The company recorded quarterly revenue of $12.9 billion, an 8 percent year-over-year decrease. The company said net profit reached $300 million, up 19% from $253 million in the same period.

Lenovo Vibe X3 Battery Life Test

Lenovo launched the Vibe X3 smartphone in India at Rs. 19,999 last week. We already brought you the unboxing and benchmarks of the smartphone, here we have the battery life test results. The Vibe X3 packs a 3500mAh Lithium-Polymer built-in battery, slightly larger than the 3300mAh battery on the K4 Note. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Check out the test results below.

Lenovo launched the Vibe X3, it’s flagship smartphone earlier this week at Rs. 19,999 exclusively on Amazon.in.. We already brought you the unboxing and photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit 20nm processor that has two bigger ARM Cortex A57 cores clocked at 1.82GHz per core and four smaller ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.44GHz per core with 600 MHz Adreno 418 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM, 5.5-inch 1080p display and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) with Vibe UI on top. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores.

1.4 Billion smartphones shipped in 2015 – Huawei and Lenovo see biggest growth

The year 2015 saw a total of 1.4 Billion smartphone shipments which makes it the highest number of smartphones shipments in a year. This is a 10.1% increase in shipments compared to the 1.3 Billion units of last year.
