Lenovo Vibe K5 with Snapdragon 415 and K5 Plus with 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 616 announced

Lenovo has announced Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The K5 Plus has a 5-inch 1080p display and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 616 processor, so it is the international variant of the Lemon 3 that was introduced in China last month. The Vibe K5 has a 5-inch HD screen and is powered by a Octa-Core Snapdragon 415 processor. Both these run on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Lenovo’s own UI on top, have a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Lenovo records $12.9 billion in revenue, down 8 percent year-over-year in Q3 2015

Lenovo has announced results for its third fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2015. The company recorded quarterly revenue of $12.9 billion, an 8 percent year-over-year decrease. The company said net profit reached $300 million, up 19% from $253 million in the same period.

Lenovo launched the Vibe X3 smartphone in India at Rs. 19,999 last week. We already brought you the unboxing and benchmarks of the smartphone, here we have the battery life test results. The Vibe X3 packs a 3500mAh Lithium-Polymer built-in battery, slightly larger than the 3300mAh battery on the K4 Note. Lenovo launched the Vibe X3, it’s flagship smartphone earlier this week at Rs. 19,999 exclusively on Amazon.in.. We already brought you the unboxing and photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit 20nm processor that has two bigger ARM Cortex A57 cores clocked at 1.82GHz per core and four smaller ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.44GHz per core with 600 MHz Adreno 418 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM, 5.5-inch 1080p display and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) with Vibe UI on top. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores.
