Lenovo has launched Tab 4 series of tablets that includes Tab 4 8, Tab 4 8 Plus, Tab 4 10, Tab 4 10 Plus in India. These were introduced at the MWC 2017 earlier this year, are powered by Snapdragon SoCs, run Android 7.0 (Nougat) and come with 4G LTE support. At the Lenovo K8 Plus launch event Anuj Sharma, Product Marketing Head, Lenovo MBG India said that the company will launch the K8 smartphone in the country soon. It will have a 5.2-inch HD screen, will be powered by MediaTek Helio P20 SoC and run Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) stock Android.
Lenovo today launched K8 Plus, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘K series’ in India, soon after the launch of K8 Note in the country, as it had promised. It packs a 5.2-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 SoC, runs on stock Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) and will get Android 8.0 (Oreo). Similar to the K8 Note, it has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera to capture depth information for bokeh effect. Lenovo launched the K8 Note smartphone in India with dual rear cameras starting at Rs. 12,999. We already brought you the unboxing of the phone, here we have the camera samples from the phone. The phone packs a 13MP rear camera with PureCel Plus OV13855 sensor, dual-tone LED Flash along with a secondary 5MP camera with S5K5E2 sensor to capture depth information. It has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, wide-angle lens and soft LED flash.
Lenovo launched the PHAB 2 Plus in India last year, later it launched the PHAB 2 in the country in December. It even launched the PHAB 2 Pro, the world’s first Google tango-enabled smartphone for consumers earlier this year. All these phones were launched running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
