Lenovo has introduced new Tab M7 and Tab M8, two new tablets in the M series ahead of IFA 2019 next week. The Tab M7 has a 7-inch WSVGA screen and the Tab M8 comes in HD and Full HD options. These have built-in Kid’s Mode 3.0 that offers rich and customized kids’ content for children under 12 years of age. “Kids who pick up the tablet will be switched directly to their kids’ account, which features a child-friendly interface with access to games, built-in applications, videos, audio and books that offer educational content in 44 languages,” said the company.

Lenovo has announced Z6, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘Z series’ in China. It has a 6.39-inch OLED waterdrop notch screen with 93.1% screen-to-body ratio, HDR10 support, is powered by Snapdragon 730 with up to 8GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with ZUI 11 on top, has a 24-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX576 sensor and f/1.8 aperture, effective 1.8um pixel through four-in-one pixel binning, 8MP telephoto lens for 2x loss-less zoom and up to 8x hybrid zoom, and a 5-megapixel depth sensing lens for portrait shots. There is also a 16-megapixel front camera AI beauty features.
Update: July 1, 2019 – Lenovo has confirmed that the phone will be introduced in China on July 4th. It has also confirmed the remaining specifications of the smartphone.
Lenovo at the Computex 2019 in Taipei announced Project Limitless, which calls as the world’s first 5G always-on, always-connected PC, powered by new Snapdragon 8cx 5G compute platform with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G modem. Lenovo did not share any specification of the device yet, but the prototype shows a convertible design, large screen and a fingerprint sensor.
Lenovo just announced Z6 Lite (Youth Edition) in China, after the Z6 Pro last month. It has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio LCD screen with 93.07% screen to body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 710 with up to 6GB of RAM, and comes with triple rear cameras that includes a 16-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 8x hybrid zoom and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 16-megapixel camera on the front.
At the ongoing Lenovo Accelerate 2019 event, Lenovo has unveiled a preview and demo of the world’s first foldable PC in ThinkPad X1 Family. It is a full-fledged laptop with a foldable screen and with this launch, the foldable laptop joins Lenovo’s premium ThinkPad family.

It has a monochrome screen with night light mode, promises 20 days battery life, offers 24/7 heart-rate tracking, offers activity and scientific sleep monitoring, and is water resistant up to 50 meters so it can be used as a swim tracker. It also has smart features like remote camera and vibrating notifications along with alerts for phone calls, emails, text messages, and other social media apps.
